Also, traditionally the tree stump has to publicly declare himself to be the tree stump before he actually becomes one. I really don't think hammering him is going to end the day and stop the lynch, which is what I'm thinking you're thinking.

OK he's hammered now, so while we're waiting, who are we going with if adam turns up stumped? I'm thinking either rust or Ph0X, since everyone else has given me a reason not to lynch them. Nevermind, the revive thing had the downsides to it. But just because psychiatry works doesn't mean it won't get blocked.
Given the uncertainty of the nights, I really don't think we can rely on animask's ability working. A Lynch seems to be the best option.
