Nothing better than a perfectly clean, albeit near spotless desktop to use day in, day out.
I would just make the entire desktop one Eyefinity group but unfortunately my second monitor (left-side) cannot do 120Hz, which I just cannot do without since 60Hz LCD screens hurt my eyes for anything bar text and video.

Aha, once you know where everything is, you're rolling... I don't really see the point of an empty desktop - it's like buying a table and putting it in the middle of a room, but NEVER using it for ANYTHING at all. It might look good decoratively, but it voids the purpose.

And yeah, there's always trial and error. =P

@ampzz also, i've always wondered, how does a tablet in pen mode work for dual monitors?

Yup, I have Dual monitors and a tablet and I sometimes set them to just one monitor though it likes to reset on me... Probably me doing something wrong.

I seriously should get around to replacing my ages BenQ G2412HD with another 120Hz monitor, it pains my eyes to see anything on it and it's slowing dying as it randomly switches off or doesn't turn off..

It's 1280x1024, the others are 1920x1080. I'm too lazy to buy another 24" monitor.
