I wasn't much of a fan. It sure is difficult though.

I agree with this, it's like closed circle where you can't get in. In League of Legends the community is much more understanding and not so full of elitists.Pizzicatto wrote:

I second that. HoN needs an IQ test in it's registration page.heintsi wrote:

Oh God, I could never beat that one. The sequel is a good difficulty level, but that one? That one had some frustrating moments, especially with those 4 fucking clones...icy_rose wrote:

Really? I find it to be easier than HG/SS and I raised a team of 6 in HG/SS and I'm raising a team of six right now. Course, I'm not done completely but so far the only trouble I've had was with the first gym leader.Shootinglight wrote:

Also, if you have trouble in a Yu-Gi-Oh game that just means you suck at Yu-Gi-Oh.
Unless they implemented a stupid motorcycle mechanic.
Ikaruga isn't really that difficult, unless you refuse to settle for anything less than perfect chaining. There's a fairly high skill ceiling but that's mainly optional.Backfire wrote:
I might as well not even mention touhou, so, I'll say something like Ikaruga and the Rainbow Six Games. :l

The original Ninja Gaidens for the NES are much, much harder than that.Don't know, never played NES. Of course, we can argue all day on the subject which game is harder, but I really think that it's kinda pointless to compare difficulty level between those two games. Mainly because they don't use the same technology, making it absurd to do so.
I always found 2 and 3 much harder than 1.Pokebis wrote:

It's not only your opinion... in all my really long gaming experience as well, Ninja Gaiden (Black) on original XBOX has definitively won the award of the hardest game of all time I ever played.test_of_valor wrote:
In my 14 years of gaming, there is only one game that I can say is the hardest one I played. The first Ninja Gaiden on Xbox. I mean, the difficulty is just insane, I couldn't get past Chapter 10(I think it's Military Supply Base) even on Normal. But it's amazing regardless.
That game is the only one that I will ever consider the absolute masterpiece of gaming industry, mostly because there are so many restrictions. Hell, even the producer/director of Team Ninja(sorry, can't remember his name now) said in an interview, that he is drunk when making games.
Later, they went AWOL with Ninja Gaiden 2 and made it easy as hell(I don't know if he was on that project).
This is all my opinion, of course.

Mitsuru begs to differ. But then again, I didn't ever take out Metis, since she was the most boss thing in The Answer. Several of my IRL friends couldn't stand her (so I got new friends).Ivalset wrote:

I had that on demo too. When I recently got the PSX emulator to play FFIX again, I remembered Tombi and few others from those demos of my childhood so I got them too. The demo gives really wrong image about the brutality of that game. It really hurt my HC-gamer pride to admit that I can't beat that gameAzure_Kyte wrote:

You should. It's one of the best games on the system. Partly because it offers some challenge unlike most of the games nowadays.GladiOol wrote:

Just wait until you get to Robotnik. (i'm assuming you havent changed your settings and are playing on Normal.) He's relentless and a genius, just as he's known for. He throws chains and combos you couldn't come up with in seconds time like he can.awp wrote:
Well, I've got a new hardest game. Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. First five stages are throwaway easy, but each level is tougher than the last and by Stage 6 or 7 they're squeezing you by the balls. I'm at Stage 10 with no end in sight, and I can't imagine it getting much more difficult without it boiling down to a pile of luck or a requirement that I use a Tool Assistant in order to actually place objects where I want them to go (which afaik is impossible on a PS3)
Surprisingly, I had very little difficulty after Stage 10, and Robotnik only took me about 10 minutesRemmyX25 wrote:

Great game, too bad the gameplay has some flaws and is very easy if you know how to make chains. I recommend Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary, the best one in the series.awp wrote:

and outrageously difficult if you don't. Hence why I'll never enjoy the Puyo series.Nharox wrote:
