I hate 90% of all Shounen anime. That includes shows like:

-Naruto
-Bleach
-One Piece
-Gintama

I hate 90% of all anime that feature High School girls doing stupid things that are supposed to be funny but aren't. This includes:

-Lucky Star
-All of those other anime that are just like what I described but with forgettable names
-K-ON!(!)

Haruhi is freaking awesome, though. Same with School Rumble.

On a more serious note, Legendz > Pokemon. As for the worst anime I've ever seen?

The newest season of Bakugan. Over the years they've slowly but surely removed anything even remotely interesting about the show, resulting in a show that is arguably so bad it's good because it's now just a bunch of kids with horrible, horrible voice acting yelling at each other and hoping that they somehow win. I watch it for laughs, because it's just that bad.

In second comes the latest season of Beyblade, which is pretty similar, but it doesn't quite reach "so bad it's good" territory.

Definitely Arakawa under the bridge. I watched a few episodes, and did not understand what was going on.
You didn't even take the time to try and understand a comedy show?

Arakawa is actually hilarious.

Watched: Lucky Star

Read: Tsubasa Chronicles.

All I can say for both is, "Holy shit, what?"

I own lucky star lololololol

Anyways, Masters of Martial Hearts, I think it's called, was garbage.

Lets throw in Ikkitousen as well.

Kampfer, Freezing, Toriko, Kiba

Naruto-fillers suck so bad, but I like the "story twists" in Shippuden :P Also the first FMA ending was a wtf moment for me.

Narutaru. Enjoyable for the gore, but there's only so much pointless blood and violence, coupled with "what the fuck" moments that one can take.

The ending to School Days.

The most entertaining part of an otherwise mediocre show.

The show itself isn't too bad. It's got better animation than I would've expected, but it's a soap opera filled with unlikeable people. It's passable since it's entertaining in some way.

I don't really see a reason to be hating it for what it is, the anime adaptation supposedly followed a route presented in the original VN.
I have a sort of respect for that.
They went for authenticity, if you may call it.

At the time I watched it, I wasn't really paying much attention to this or that, I just sort of went with it.
Didn't like it but didn't end up hating it either.
Most of what contributed to people "just hating" it is because they somehow found fault at the fact the show ended in such a way, and as you said, the mostly..unlikable cast. (Yeah, the best friend is an asshole)
People either plain saw it coming, or just expected SOME KIND OF good ending.

But uh, the way the show went, the ending was to be. Nothing less.

Though I admit at one time I jumped on the "This-show-is-bad-hatehatehatehate" -bandwagon, just because.

I was laughing by the end of school days.

Zero no Tsukaima II and III
Highschool of the Dead

Highschool of the Dead would've been freakin' awesome if the action sequences took precedence over fanservice. Zero no Tsukaima II and III were pointless sequels, imo.

Or maybe I just don't like excessive fanservice.

Regarding slice-of-life anime, for some reason I feel like the group that dislikes the genre is really vocal about it.

agreed, many anime that are better without so much ecchi scene HOTD is the first one that come on my mind though

I don't watch many animes
But I'm a CLANNAD fan.
Don't get me wrong, CLANNAD is a magnificent anime (and the VN was beautiful too)

But the movie kinda sucked compared to the Anime (The animation style, that is)
Tomoya's voice was also the worst Japanese Voice Acting I've ever heard.

The story was alright though.

That's because those who made the CLANNAD movie was another company and not "Key", as the movie Air TV and Kanon 2002 (12 episodes) season, both suck, but then came "key" and made a perfect remake *- * Clannad, Air TV (12 episodes), Kanon 2006 (24 episodes) (if you're a fan of Clannad I recommend you see them, are of the same drawing)
Mogsy
You're completely wrong, y'know. If you bothered to do even the least bit of research (such as watching the opening credits of the series, guys), you'd know that Kyoto Animation was responsible for the TV series of Clannad/Air, and Toei Animation was responsible for the movies of both of those visual novels, originally made by Key.

I will agree, though, the Air and Clannad movies sucked.

Hm, when it comes to bad Anime I like to specify that a lot of that bad ones are usually americanized badly (pokemon, etc.)

I don't have specific names, though I can look for them, but some of the worst anime I've seen come from people attempting to create a sci fi one. Some people make the worst sci fi themed anime, and it's one of the trickiest genres in my opinion. That and mystery, but most mystery anime creators have done good job on a large scale.

School days xP
Infinite Stratos
Oniichan no Koto
...can't remember any others

LOL oniichan, such a controversial topic you got there haha ;P

I also remember, I never really liked any gundam series stuff O.O

Oniichan's controversial?

It's nothing compared to some other stuff, even sans the 18+ rated series.

Yup I agree, but fans like to blow it out of proportion. It's like how Bieber is more controversial than drugs, it makes no sense, but it just is lol

As for the Gundam, I'm speaking old stuff (dcon't remember titles), like when I was younger (8 years ago? somewhere in that ballpark). I acquired most of my taste for anime when I was younger to be honest, so the only ones I ever actually enjoy are action and romance comedy, including ecchi stuff.

...omg, I'm just going to leave now and watch the entire yu yu hakusho series. I just had a flashback, it's been soo long. lol random, my bad, but..I'm gonna go watch that now.

I thought it just had a shit art style and stupid shit I've seen in worse shows, causing me to drop it right away. I honestly could stand less of Kiss x Sis and Yosuga no Sora thanOniichan. At least I made it through an entire episode of Oniichan.

Oh, right, Yosuga no Sora is also shit.
ddrXero64
Yup. This is one of the few forums that don't have certain obsessed fans blowing it up. Nice to see a mature anime related sub forum.
tofast4you
Well , I would say Infinite Stratos or even Ookami

Pretty much my thoughts.

Fanservice has the ability to ruin a show.
A show completely about fanservice flatlines from the beginning.

Even though there is atleast 1 more season coming(i think) Freezing was terrible, the characters and pretty much everything was so unrealistic.

Fanservice animes are like vague genre movies. You don't watch them if you aren't going to like them. Personally, I laughed my ass off in HSotD, mostly due to the outrageous fanservice. I can't find it, but someone used the bullet's speed to discover the speed of Saeko's boobs in the matrix boob scene (I think it's well over the speed of sound). It's likely disgusting to many people, but don't watch it if you don't like it.

It was a stupid show, with a stupid premise, but at least it did everything right: ridiculously over the top.

I will agree though, some fanservice just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. A show completely about fanservice, however, is usually hilarious to me, and worth watching, just for the silliness.
