Not sure if I got the timing right for some parts. Yes, I am doing a song that I shouldn't really be doing as a beginner at mapping, but hey, I don't want to hassle people to do the song for me as I will feel bad. I would really appreciate it if someone can point out the timing errors that I need to fix.

I have the correct Bpm, the offset feels very off though, mainly because I have to use a red line at 00:39:816, which for me is very weird.

I've been putting off mapping this for like a year straight and people still enjoy playing it so I really want to make it a better map.

the metronome resets periodically in the song im mapping, and I fixed it thankfully

I am a novice mapper at best, and made one okay diff for a song I enjoy a few years back. since then, it has built up a few favorites and 20k plays, then last week it started exploding, so I feel obligated to get it qualified, ranked, anything. I know the beginning is correct, but the bpm seems to vary slightly throughout the song, causing a buildup of unplayable offsets. can anyone find a way to functionally address this?

here you go I made a diff called "Timing Fix" and did all the timing and note-resnapping for you (except for the inherited points [or green lines]). The beginning of this song just has some tempo fluctuations so yeah. Also the bpm of the song is 180 from what im seeing rn not 183 so yeah.

Greetings, I've begun work on a beatmap for a highly obscure song, and, being a novice with regard to timings, I really cannot be sure whether my BPM is accurate, or whether any alignment to the song is just my own bias lol. Moreover, I feel like the time signature isn't 4/4, but I can't tell what it's supposed to be. Supposedly, Slavic music such as this often fits into 5/4, but again, this doesn't sound right when I listen to it in the timeline... Please and thank you for any help :​D

1. You can download and safe the file as a .osu file, or you can also copy the timing points directly (line 51-62 in that file) and paste directly to timing setup panel, but make sure to delete your previous timing points first, because pasting does not overwrite them

Yeah it has a few bpm changes and there are some mixes of 3/4 and 4/4 time signatures that’s also why there are multiple timing points

It seems like BPM is a tiny bit lower than 180 imo so:
try offset = -21 and bpm = 179.63 XD nvm
