For who doesen't like this,just disable the double time mod,and when you play,you'll play normally.

poxa eu n vo negar q com o nightcore ficou interessante as musicas, porem, vcs poderiam ter adicionado uma chave com liga/desliga o modo nightcore... agora n consigo deixar o osu em modo de descanso pq eu quero ouvir as musicas mais com o nightcore a maioria ficaram 'horriveis'...
por favor, levem a minha reclamaçao em consideraçao... eu sei q o pessoal gosta de desafios, mais vcs poderiam ter adcionado o botao para essa modalidade ao inves de 'mexer' diretamente com esta opçao 'não´dando chance para ser alterada fora do jogo...

thats really difficult to play, suddenly i think nightcore should be one of the defficulty mods, think about these!
As for me, I liked the idea, idk what's wrong or bad with it D: and idea with making it as additional mod is quite good
Making it optional is better, as there's so many people want to listen to the songs(original version).
I totally agree, its just a great idea and it makes songs really fun, allthough i h8 double time, it makes me playing this mod.
So i would also like to see a nightcore mod in the mod table, off course not multipliing the score in any way, but also not making it unranked^^
i would also enjoy a second mod doing the same without double time or even a unranked mod which lets you choose the songspeed maybe and also pitching them up and down as you whish, only to play round with it, but i guess that would be to much od modding for now as it wwould be the first mod with regulable bars and it would may so need a own menu

A few minutes ago, I just thought of this thing as a bug which makes Double Time a 'default mod' for eternity, which I know, would suck for me. 
So, I thought of ALMOST sending it as a bug, but oh, I saw this topic and LOL, did I get a breather. 
Anywayyyyyyyy, this sounds AWESOME!!!
But also, with all due respect, I suggest that you inform players who don't check the main site so often(like me)... A pop-up that shows up in the lower right bottom of the screen like a notification when they log-in the server in-game might do. That would save more people from panicking thinking that their game got a bug and run around flailing their arms like a little girl. (honestly, I almost did that.)

Because this upgrade can make some of the beatmaps difficult to play, you can disable osu!core on a map by disabling DoubleTime in mod select. It will be enabled on the next map you pick, so you can experience it as intended. Keep in mind that Reset All Mods will turn it on, not off.read etc.
