In these special cases, contact a BAT to move your beatmap to pending. This will be how it will work from now on. Besides - approved maps are generally very very special cases and aren't decided by the mapper, but by the BAT team as a whole.

Finished off some work on the database, benchmarked swapping table structure to dynamic from fixed, swapping to innodb. Decided neither will help with performance. Still need to migrate osu! score table to new format (being used only by CtB at the moment).

(+) osu! executable patching update support. Updates should be <20kb in the future.
(+) Accuracy win condition works with team vs.
(*) Fixed crash when osu!.db becomes corrupt (but why it becomes corrupt is more of a question really).
(*) Team score display uses the osu! score font/layout.

Had to remove a bit more profiling stuff for the moment until I get around to optimising it. Server really felt a hit tonight.

hohum someone has been busy. main change was a restructure of the virtual audiotime system (which is used for leadin/outro periods) in wake of implementing SBE support for intro/outro.

Would it be possible to remove the circle-size-difficulty-setting-slider-bar-thingy and replace it with a text box allowing you to change the radius of circles in centimetres? I agree with your decision to remove the useless oversized/undersized selections, but the middle ground has quite largish jumps in circle sizes.

Some people (Am I the only one?) would want to have the freedom to adjust precision more carefully. Regardless, it isn't a particularly important change that could be made, anyway. I know here's a few pending bugs I said I'd fix tongiht, but I spent too much time on the new timing algorithm. Please give it a try by resetting and tapping along to any map. Here are a few of the (awesome) specifics:

You must click 16 times for timing to be calculated. This provides a minimum level of accuracy.
If you click more than 32 times, the precision of the BPM wil be extended to 1 decimal place.
If you click more than 64 times, the precision of the BPM wil be extended to 2 decimal places.
The more you click, the more accurate the timing will be. If you click through the whole song (and it is constant BPM) you can almost be guaranteed to have perfect timing.
If you stop tapping to listen to the metronome and realise it isnt quite perfect, simply start tapping again in time to the beat and the song will rewind to the last point you stopped tapping. Tapping will always been in sequence from the first tap moving forwards and you may not seek and tap at a later point (without resetting first). This is one of the criteria in order for this algorithm to be accurate.

I managed to time 7/7 whole-BPM songs with under 20 clicks. I also tried 3 2d.p. BPMs and had them within 0.01bpm by 50% through the song. I find this pretty impressive

(+) Beatmap background image fills the song select screen. Please mention any lag you feel with this and whether its too much.

I had my doubts on this when it was first suggested, but I feel the change actually works. I'm not sure if this small lag is caused by the bg-image loading or not, but it's so small that I can live with it.

(Also, this is far superior to the banner system which dance games use, no need for a second image file)

(+) Button spam is filtered from chat client side (no more 'zxzxzxzzxzxxzzxx').
(*) /np shows editing status if required.
(*) Fixed scoreboard not displaying '??' when watching replays (showed 40 instead, which was incorrect).
(*) Fixed some threading issues.

Great! I've already started to modify LuigiHann's taiko skin for my own personal use... so can I put a set of commands in the skin.ini to change the comboburst positions now? Maybe this would file better under skinning.

Cool stuff everything, but in my opinion the Least played maps in the "Most played" list are too freaking small. I couldn't really read the last one. Could you make at least the last ones a bit bigger by any chance?
