If I get the all the Osu packs then am I set for Osu mania as well or do I get different beatmaps if I download the ones specific to Osu Mania?

No. There are mapsets in osu!mania that don't have osu!standard maps and they will only be found in the osu!mania packs.

In that case, should I get more beat maps specific to mania if I have downloaded all the Osu beatmaps?
If so should I get them all?
also if there is a duplicate then does it get deleted?

If you play osu!standard and osu!mania, you should get them all or at least the recent ones.
You won't have duplicates. If you import a mapset that you already have it will replace it.

i have all 100% but 2016 (osu mania)
so please enable them so i can spread the world (server)

edit: the files in 2016 are different from the direct download, as mentionted before

I am not seeding all day long. Unfortunately, some people download the torrents and remove their files right away. The osu!standard 2017 pack went from more than 100 to 32 now. There were a few seeds for taiko too but just 1 right now. I can't upload very fast either.

the main problem is, that a lot of torrents dont correspond to the direct files.. so even if i download the files i cant see them because torrent client dont accept them. else, as mentioned before, i would love to spread the world with my server

Im a big fan of this project and downloaded ALL files and torrents from mega.
So now i can seed and spread the world over torrent(server with gigabit), but unfortunately a few torrent files DONT match the files in mega so it cant reach 100% in torrent and nobody is seeding those. i want this to be awesome!!!!

Are you interested in direct download?
Another idea of mine is to add a torrent which contains ALL files of one category so you dont have to soooo many torrent files.

The files/torrent that are missing:
2016 osu! (stuck at 83,4%): files: 1, 3, 4, 6, 7
2016 osu!mania (stuck at 81.7%): files: 1, 2, 3, 4, 11, 12
2017 osu!catch (stuck at 95.6%): files: 6, 7, 8

please seed only those 3 or repack the torrents!
maybe you have another idea @elessey

Hello. Quick update to tell that the January packs will be uploaded later than usual and the February packs will probably be delayed too. The reason is that I'm currently thinking whether or not I should continue using Mega or completely switch to torrenting everything (including the monthly packs) or uploading on a private server.

torrent works great i think and is also better for people with slow internet where the download takes a long time

I think you might have missed a mapset with two maps in 2016 pack, after installing it I got 1269 mapsets and 5507 beatmaps. Would be great if someone else can doublecheck this.
Also, 2017 pack gave me 1301 mapsets and 5348 beatmaps (standard)

There are 1302 normal osu beatmap sets for 2017, if you put them all in a folder in windows and then open it and look in the bottom left it'll show how many items are in that folder, so yeah now you can put that in the post if you want.

Loved maps are basically unranked maps that have a ranking leaderboard. Nonetheless, they are still unranked maps that can be ranked in the future. Therefore it would require to remove them from the loved list and then add them to the ranked list, which I am not interested in doing.

Why Mega? It's shit, use something else.
It is the best free option I have at the moment with the torrents. I might pay for a premium option on another site than Mega or my own server.

It's not worth punishing all the people who gave positive feedback and people who haven't said anything but still appreciate the effort put in because of a couple of idiots. Just ignore and move on.

Also, I got messages from some people. I haven't been able to reply but I want to say thank you for the feedback. I'm glad that people enjoy the packs.

Found a problem with downloading maps 2017 Nov-Dec. There are 4 maps that both November and December share. 409214 Kero Kero Bonito - Flamingo (WTN3 Remix), 486684 Lotus Juice & Shihoko Hirata - Dance!, 625986 Hotaru Murasaki - Re-TrymenT, and 684242 Matsushita - Hey Darling! are the 4 maps that have been put in your archive twice.

The beatmap "Gitaroo Man - 12 - The Legendary Theme (Album Version)" in "2007-11(osu!)" folder has only one difficulty while there should be two. It was downloaded by torrent.

The beatmap "Earth, Wind & Fire - September" was rank in November 2007, but it's in December 2007 folder.

What Child Is This? (Speed Up Ver.) is missing from the 2018-01 pack... or 2017-12. New website says it was ranked in December and the old one says January, at least for me.

The errors that have been reported have been fixed. Torrents have been updated, not the Mega packs.
April packs will be uploaded later this month.

Edit: Little updates about some issues
Maps that have been ranked on the 30th or 31st of a certain month and are ranked on the 1st of the next month of the next month will be considered ranked on the previous month for the packs from 2007 to 2017. For 2018 and forward, I will use my local time (UTC+4). So don't report these anymore.

Edit #2 : Puush links don't work. I will add new links soon.

Where is last month pack?

I used osu!direct to check that I had everything but I've had problems with it so I can't be sure that 100% of the ranked maps are there.
There might be a few missing maps at most but I think that 99.99% of the maps are there.

Does this include maps that can't be downloaded on the site anymore?
Yes.

Does it include loved maps? Please add loved maps.
Loved maps are basically unranked maps that have a ranking leaderboard. Nonetheless, they are still unranked maps that can be ranked in the future. Therefore it would require to remove them from the loved list and then add them to the ranked list, which I am not interested in doing.

Why Mega? It's shit, use something else.
It is the best free option I have at the moment with the torrents. I might pay for a premium option on another site than Mega or my own server.

For all the maps ranked from 2007 to 2017, I've used the time from the old website (UTC+9 if I'm not wrong). For all the maps after 2017, I will be using my local time (UTC+4). So if you notice errors like these, please do not report them unless you see the mapset in both months. Some maps will be in a different month depending on the timezone.
