For me it is that i use z as my main key, but always start streams with x. No clue why. I just do that, even though i think it's uncomfortable.
I also only use mouse on sliders... That one actually hampers my results.

During the breaks I kind of tap the mouse mat with the mouse. I don't know why. I noticed Cyclone does the same thing in his videos and we seem to have the same mouse even. I guess my hand just feels uncomfortable doing nothing, or something.

In this old video for an example. Theres a break starting at 0:13

I hold my breath through harder songs, only letting go during breaks or if the song is too long.

When I get nervous I do everything that could make me not get concentrated in the beatmap
I do this when I get frustrated a lot, and for some reason I actually end up doing better on the song that's making me frustrated.

This. I start like, thinking about stuff like the whole concept of the notes, which ends up with me mixing things up in my head, and missing. Mainly in taiko though.

I also use my mouse for spinners. As in, I click spinners.

I've only been playing for a short time, but at the moment, unless it is a stream, I click everything.

Is this a severe disadvantage compared to keyboard?

I leftclick everything except, say, things faster than 130 bpm 1/4 stream, so this isn't wierd at all, lot of people play leftclick + keyboard.

I've noticed that when I'm trying to fullcombo a map, if I'm doing unusually well my heart starts beating faster, to the point where my pulse is like I just ran a mile if I successfully FC that map.

I sometimes find myself blinking at the start of each bar when I'm playing. Then I catch myself and get distracted by trying to break my own movements.

i thought press F9 or F8 in Break time is only doing me , but not XDDDD

I get nervous when being close to achieve something that's really hard for me (getting an FC or whatever), and because of that sometimes I end up missing just because I'm nervous. :<

While playing, when I reach a break, I'm always doing F9

Even in offline (as you can expect, this don't work very well xD)

2) I always look at the chat at the bottom of the screen
3) I press F8/F9 whenever I enter breaks
4) I spin even when there's no spinners
5) I start shaking when Canneh watches me (temporary problem)

A lot of people do this, you can see that on replays sometimes if people use mouse to click the "Open chat" button, even Cookie did this on his live playing video. That's because most of breaks are misused and you have to pay attention at something to not lose the tension, simple as that, at least I think so :)

This is very common and actually very reasonable, you get used to the moments where people usually place spinners

5) I start shaking when Canneh watches me (temporary problem)

I too have people like that :)

I miss in the last 10 notoes really often , and because of that i have to reset the song , yes i hate to get A's .. and it must be cuz i get like really nervous when i'm finishing a hard song and FC'ing it ,i even star blinking a LOT >.<.


Oh , and i can't stop making the cursor breath lol (by hitting buttons in breaks ..)

I do reaaally good the first time i play the map , and then im start doing worst and worst , maybe i do more 100's and 50's the first time cuz of not knowing the times , but the combo is much larger the first time >.< .. i totally hate it

Though I'm playing with a tablet now, a habit I had when holding my mouse was to have both my index and middle finger on the left mouse button, the thumb on the left and the other two on the right of the mouse... Which meant that lmb+rmb was impossible :p

when for exmple my dad comes in and i pauze the game i press retry xDDDD so bad ahahaha

I'm learning to keep stability after accomplishing something by sort of telling myself, "that was easy, you fool, stop overreacting" which not only will help me FC stuff more often, but help me in life as well.

And doing bad while being spectated is about the same as public speaking lol.

2. Always press F8/F9 during breaks
3. When being spectated I either move the fruit catcher around or my mouse
4. I spin when there is no spinner
5. I always end up leaning closer and closer to my screen
6. I press F2 till I find the song I'm looking for :P

I tend to tilt my head to the left side when playing a Hard/Insane map and reach an intense part.
I get extremely nervous when I have a spectator.
Oh and my heart starts to race like crazy sometimes when I broke my previous (fail) record on a map D:

And the normal stuff. You know.

Wow, I'm surprised so many other people shiver while they play! I thought I was the only one.

My only other weird habit is that I always take off my watch before playing. It doesn't get in the way of me playing or anything, I've just gotten in the habit of playing without a watch on my wrist for some reason.

Mine would likely be nodding my head to the countdown and flinging the mouse away with my thumb at the end of a very difficult beatmap.

Oh, and I always hit TAB to hide the ranking... Even though I know it's hidden, I still click TAB twice at the beginning of the map, breaks or in Multi etc

The fact that I never ever actually play osu! I just stay in the editor and test mode.

But when I actually play, I do tend to get too cocky after I notice I got past my old score and then I fail.

i do something like this but before a slider, i hate xing them (click/x player) so always click-x-click if theres a note then slider 1/4 later

I bite the inside of my mouth when I play hard songs on standard.

Jesus christ the inside of my mouth hurts afterwards.

Also during breaks I press F9, but I HAVE to pause first, even if the break is uber-long.

I cannot play well without crossing my legs on my chair, even if its uncomfortable at times or my leg gets numb, I play better crossing my legs O_O"

Also, I don't use breaks to break, I use them to practice spinning. I don't even stop, I see how long I can hold a small controlled spin throughout the break

If I haven't downloaded any new maps lately (that I can remember) or if I just get really bored, I start going through my entire list of songs trying to find a map I gave up on, or anything new. Occasionally I may scan for maps that I have crappy accuracy on (osu! standard). By the way, I only have about 1800 maps, so it's not like I spend weeks going through every song o3o

I have a tendency to hop on osu! when bored or to get distracted from work to see if any of my friends are on.

During breaks, I tend to move the fruit catcher according to the rhythm in a variety of ways, as if I were practicing jumps (Ryuuta dance? lol)

For restarting rapidly, I will often hit escape, then quickly move my mouse over and click the Retry button in time with when I would've hit the next note. Sometimes my mouse will be over either the continue or quit buttons and I would accidentally click them.

There's a threshold of whether I will shiver or not depending on how much I've played osu! in the past while, how much I've played earlier that day, and on how difficult the song is. I rarely shiver if I've played osu! a lot in the past week.

I apparently/often perform better when being spectated.

I tend to panic when I'm about to beat a high score on the charts (in the Top 15) Thus I mess up; That may be why I haven't taken 10th place on Shinyaku no Yoru [Nazo] >.>

When BG have faces, during breaks I place the cursor in the eyes, or just click them. Also if BG have circles shapes where the cursor fits. @.@

Same here, I guess.....

I always seem to make circles during the breaks (or pretty much anytime now) like I'm spinning a spinner.

I lean forward to prevent miss (I usually miss alot when I'm sitting in a laid back position)

I spin during breaks to check if my pen is still spinner functional

I remove hit 300, 100, 50 etc. for me not caring about the accuracy

I always spin with right-click and spin clockwise which is recessive. I simply cannot spin counter-clockwise.
