I got my own "compass"; if I'm not wrong about what it is composed of: I'm thinking about "values" and "standards".
Although it's a bit of a broken one, because I try to live with not only the "rules" coming from "common sense", "education" and other things close to them that I might be forgetting or unable to name [because I live in France and don't know the words], but also with "rules" that I carved into myself as a result of what I've experienced and seen during my years of existence.
The latter ones make the major part of the said "compass"; making me try to live without breaking the "common sense's rules".
If the world were to change to a point I have to (almost completely) overwrite my "ethics", then I don't think I'll be staying alive for long, let alone be fast enough to find solutions to each problem that popped up due to the changes.
(I think I got some serious mental issues right there.)Azure_Kite wrote:

Academically speaking, Languages are my favorite. (I feel like I'm the only one thinking about working in another country, in the event I can't fit in my own. Really, like, not "working together" but rather "run away from where I can't properly live".)
Generally speaking, Art is my favorite. But it doesn't go on after high s', unless going to the appropriate school instead.

Do you think astrology and horoscopes have any actual meaning?
basically my thoughts. I don't necessarily find it silly, but if anything, a little sad that people revolve their lives around it.Penguin Sanchez wrote:
I feel like it's similar to the fortune teller scam, how they use extremely broad and common situations that most anyone can relate to. I find it silly that there are people who are hardcore dedicated to it.
