Still going through them so will just post all of them once I finally hit my wall. Just interesting thing to note was that I did better on 3rd dan than I did 1st or 2nd dan. I just found the maps to be easier in 3rd Dan.
As a novice player I had a lot of fun trying these. The fact you added 3 intro dans makes these rankings more approachable for us in a way, and gives a good sense of reward and progress. Song selection has been very good on all the rankings I attempted as well.
For the clears I got:

By playing the 1st and 2nd normal tiers i found a lot of trouble on the Jack charts, so it was nice to identify a weakness during these. I did some practing and improved a lot this past week, so I'll give the 2nd course a go soon.

I was going to suggest that the 3rd dan is way too easy (recently just got 95.5% on old 3rd while got 95.2% on 2nd dan) compared to 4th where I still can't pass Angel of Darkness (even on rate 0.9 on Etterna). Glad to see a better transition to jumpstreams, though looks like I have to improve my handstreams to get that 3rd dan...
Also think there's a problem with the 3rd dan. It's still playing Dimension Tripper and True Blue, but with the Cross Over and Endless Dream step file.

But speaking of which, I can't play the 5th dan at all because halfway through Energy Flower the 6th dan starts playing over the top?

We're getting so few ranked/loved maps compared to std (mainly ranked) that's not even funny... They really need to show some love to other gamemodes aswell... (rates, where are you ?)

Alpha jack is easier to achieve accuracy but it's more draining on the stamina, but I think the trade off is too minimal because it gives pretty much a free 97-98 for players around that level, so could lead to a guaranteed pass. Alpha is nerfed down to 10th dan not to mention because he's removing 10th all up.Trixta wrote:

imo, most unbalanced dan out of these, i got FC on third song, yet i have like 40 misses on M-A so my acc goes from 97% to almost 96%

ok this play is really weird, i usually have 130 misses with 89%-90%, i really cant see myself ever beat this dan

Why didn't you just buff the extra dans instead of removing 10th
Didn't try 6th Dan yet but seeing how I did on 5th figured this is my limit for now.
Also btw, idk if there was some problem with my map but 3rd Dan was completely out of sync with the music. I don't mean like I need to adjust my offset, like the map was about 15 seconds off the actual mp3. Like it had me playing notes during rest periods and then at times nothing during the actual song lol.
