mouse speed: 3800 dpi
windows speed: max
osu multiplier : 1.8
looks quite fast if compared with some others

So I hate huge jumps.
ITsaka, I want to ask - with double the dpi than you had before, do you get the same result as before when you halve the mouse speed in osu!?ITsaka wrote:

It manipulates the rate at which the mouse moves depending on how you move your mouse. A fast whip of the mouse will travel further with P-mode than without, and a very slight movement will not move as far. It's hardly noticeable until you get to insane-tier jumps or precision, at which point it's a huge liability and is almost always left off.Tenshi-nyan wrote:
I always wondered what the precison mode actually causes.
I don't notice a difference betweene P-mode off and on.

you're using mouse mode on the tablet, then? with pen mode you can get the area alot smaller without raising ingame sensitivitypickashoe wrote:
Bamboo tablet pen, acceleration off, max speed
Osu: 4.0
I feel the need to raise it up so I use less space but all software settings are maxed out
When I use my mouse I use 2200 dpi and 1.0 osu settings.
Precision mode off.
Yes I'm using mouse mode =xaevv wrote:

lol i use that as wellanamorphism wrote:
i don't understand how people can play osu!, or any games for that matter, with precision/acceleration on.
it was stated previously in this thread, but these things mean that the distance your cursor moves across your screen is dependent on how fast you move your mouse. if you turn it all off (which doesn't just mean unchecking the appropriate boxes in settings) then 1 cm of movement of your mouse will always be the same distance of cursor movement regardless of the speed you move your mouse. i think this is far more ideal in games (osu! especially). it takes a day or two to get used to once disabling it, but most people find it increases their accuracy over time.
if you're interested in fully disabling mouse acceleration in windows, read this and use the linked tools: http://donewmouseaccel.blogspot.com/201 ... n-fix.html
i've read through the source code of all the vb scripts to make sure there wasn't anything malicious in them, if you're scared about that type of thing.
anyways...
mouse: logitech g700
osu!: windowed mode, 1.00x, precision unchecked (makes sure cursor moves the same inside and outside of osu!)
windows: 7th tick-mark (equivalent of 1.00x), precision unchecked and completely disabled using the registry scripts linked above
setpoint: 1600 dpi, 500 polling
1 millimeter of movement = across the screen? xD8Ball wrote:
