A maximum of three slider velocities may be used. This includes 1x, so for example you can have a single map using 0.6x, 0.8x, and 1x, or 1x, 1.5x and 2x.

I have used 0.7, 0.8 and 0.75 which are very similar, which essentially brings it down to 4. Also, I used 2x on the BPM reduction to make it MORE intuitive, so there isn't really an issue

Guidelines are only guidelines for most of them. Some of them, however, are not guidelines, they are rules, such as not using red sections for slider speed changes.

in fact i'm a total supporter of >3 BPM changes, as well as red line hold sliders (it could be done with hundreds of red dots as i proved, so what's the point of that unrankable)
but seriously, multi-standard just making the whole things shit. i'd like to see this get ranked, and THIS keeps as a guideline.

This demonstrates the fault in the current guidelines/rules system - It is not clear which are guidelines and which are rules. I have proposed separate lists in the past, but it has been largely ignored.

Let's recap for a moment.

You have:
  1. 177 BPM: 0,7x; 1,0x; 1,33x, 1,5x. So let's say: 123,9; 177; 235,4 and 265,5 BPM at 1,0x
  2. 125,6 BPM: 2x only (in the same exact place, i thought this was an unrankable issue but maybe i'm wrong). So 251,2 BPM
  3. 108,34 BPM: 0,8x (in the same exact place again); 0,75x. So 86,67 and 81,26
  4. 177 BPM: 1x
You have 7 different speeds. We can group them as (81,26; 86,67) / (123,9) / (177) / (235,4; 251,2; 265,5).
Let's say you have 4 or 5 different speeds then.
I'm not really against all these changes (because i always supported any kind of creativity), but i guess you could easily avoid having 3 "almost identical slider speeds" by making some more calculations.

So, as a reminder for all of you here, please don't be too stingy with other mappers: by making a map with 7 slider speeds you're only asking people to attack you using the same things you probably said to them.

That said:
Most of the times i had no major problems, but there are some things i'd like to ask:
- Is there really a difference between 0,8 and 0,75 at the 108,34BPM section?
- 02:08:206 (1) - sliderticks make breaking this slider incredibly easy, because the player is used to fast speed to that point
- There are some things "off-timed" because they're supposed to follow the... "singing" which is offtimed.

I and everyone else am at liberty to map whatever I want. I could complain about you mapping nightcore, which is essentially the original song sped up and made higher with a beat underneath, but I don't. I also have no idea how you can't find this hilarious

@Following vocal - I'm sure the player isn't stupid enough to tap when the actual vocals occured, so I placed beats where the vocals should be, where they are in the original song

The slow slider has already been increased in speed - Anyone looking at the ticks can easily see the slowdown coming. Actually, I'd say the speedup at the BPM change is worse.

That's not entirely true actually.
I've been playing for more than 2 years with the "old" method and seeing more sliderticks resulted in a faster slider.
But i don't mind that too, i wanted to point it out.

Hey, yo. No one cares if you use more than 3 slider speeds as long as:
- You don't use red sections to achieve them (The red sections here are used because the actual timing changes. Yeah, really.)
- Your slider speeds fit.

The difference between red section and green section velocity changes is the following:
Red sections not only influence the slider speed, but also the metronome, the Kiai and a lot of other things, and thus peppy does not want them to be used for ANYTHING ELSE than actual timing changes. Which means that you cannot say anything but "NO. DON'T DO THAT." whenever you see them used.
Green sections only influence the slider speeds. The "don't use more than 3 slider speeds" guideline is set in place so people don't go and use slider speeds everywhere where they don't fit. However, IF they fit, you can use as many slider speeds as you want.

I suggest that you people start using your bloody brain.

Also, the song is rankable. Denying rankability for song choice is ridiculous. If that would be done, I could as well just go ahead and unrank every single bloody nightcore song because they make half the community cringe. But I don't. Because song choice is something that the mapper himself has to decide. Remember the front page?
