I'm also of the opinion that staple on smile is too hard for u.Dan 3, it is much harder than everything else in the course (I can 97/98 all of the others easily but I think I am getting like 95 on staple on smile). Kronos isn't the best choice for a speed chart as it is all rolls and completely manipulatable, but that's just my opinion. Sunny street piano rush A is also too easy imo.

As for now the u.Dans are extremely unstable, unbalanced and kinda unplayable. They will be getting changed soon. As for now; I recommend not playing them and just ignoring them since they are dragging this entire project down and obscuring all of the other courses which, in my opinion, are much more refined and accurate yet overlooked sheerly because the u.Dans are bad. I have some suggestions for other maps that I am looking at and I am sorry for the inconvenience.

chaoz Airflow x1.4 instead of WLL x1.2 is more proper i think
but less jumptrills and walls SM marathon is really good selection
and also peace breaker is hard then others

no troll maps like rave 7 [insane] or Shadow of cats 1.2

A technical map in mania terms is usually a map that has awkward and unusual patterns which are hard to transition between. Technical maps are more of a thing at high level though.

Jacks (short for jackhammers) are when a player has to hit the same column repeatedly for 3 or more notes. There are variations of jacks though, like minijacks which is the same, except consists of 2 notes. Jumpgluts are also often called jacks, which are just fast repeating double notes.

As for your final question, Dans are most certainly important as milestones in the mania community, especially among mid-high level players. They're a good way of judging a player's consistency across all areas, and acheiving a pass on a dan is considered superior in importance to stuff like rank to many players.
