2. Why did you start playing CTB? - I'm really don't know xD

5. Which CTB map do you like the most? - Alipio Martins - Piranha (Maffalda Reloaded Trap Mix) [Spec's Gangsta Overdose]
6. Who is your favourite CTB mapper? - ursa and Kyuare (Also: Badis and WujekGrzyb).
7. Do you use mods? If so, which ones? - I'm mostly no-mod player, but I also like DT (AR9+) and HR.
8. Do you prefer to play in multiplayer or solo? - Tournaments.

9. What is your favorite CTB Diff? - I don't have.
10. Do you like CTB? - I'm really hate CtB! CtB completely ruined my life! I'm going to remove osu now! Oh wait, Gunther - Songs Compilation I will remove osu! later. ^_^

About two years i think. It's been a while...

2. Why did you start playing CTB?
I saw my college friend (soon-to-be-my-favourite-player) play ctb so I started playing it

3. What playstyle do you use?
'x' for dash and semicolon n punctuation mark for left and right (yeah i use middle finger instead of the pinky finger)

4. Who is your favourite CTB player?
Shadow Fear!!!!

5. Which CTB map do you like the most?
I have quite a number of favorites but the most noticeable one would be CLIFF EDGE - Endless Tears feat. Nakamura Maiko mapped by CLSW

6. Who is your favourite CTB mapper?
Same as above, I also have quite a number of favorite ctb mappers but the ones are worth mentioning are Spectator, CLSW, and Ascendance (when he's not mapping meme lul).
(Don't hate me I still like other mappers too you know!) >.<

Hard Rock sometimes but usually NoMod all the way

I only play multiplayer to get more songs lol

Came back around mid 2014 played on and off. So 2-3 years ish.

2. Why did you start playing CTB?
Had a laptop when i first played osu!.
Clicking circles was hard on a touchpad thing Ctb was easier.

3. What playstyle do you use?
Default.

4. Who is your favourite CTB player?
(Kenji+mikhe) But AleZer0 first

5. Which CTB map do you like the most?
Many but here are two.
Awake - Supernova (Rew's Rain)
Junya Nakano - Tekishuu (Parachute's Extra) <--Convert

Krah and ZiRoX.

HD, HR (easy maps only) and NF.

8. Do you prefer to play in multiplayer or solo?
Both.
Multi when bored of maps or looking for new maps.

1. Right before this September (or right when it began, I don't remember).
2. Because my right hand turned nuts after my vacations, thus couldn't handle Standard as usually, and was afterwards too lazy to fix myself (still rarely trying though).
3. Controls? [Left]+[Right] and [>] (on AZ 'board, QW 'board is [\], I think).
4. Mmmm...... None really, I would only randomly watch replays of people who actually had SS ("without HD/FL", as you see) on Maps I'm trying too hard and wonder "Are you serious?!".
5. I would only fav' for a song. In my case: this (I saved the Diva Queen... With HT though).
6. I don't really pay attention to "who does what". I should apologize, I guess.
7. The more I'm close to "Top 50" and self-confident, the more likely I am to use HR and/or NC (never HD+FL). For harder cases, mostly HT; but I sometimes use EZ to test first.
8. I only "multi'-ed" once against a friend on Standard for fun. That aside, 'would "solo", because I'm afraid of people who want a fight either with HD/FL or a hard Map.
9. Ermmmm...... There isn't any. If you ask for the Difficulties' name, then "Overdose".
10. Fruits are sweet (mostly, but let's stay on that one), I like them better than anything else with the same taste; that aside, yes '-'

1. 2 years, started July 2014.
2. I had no mouse, and standard with a trackpad felt boring to me, and taiko and mania were both modes I had difficulty making any progress in.
3. I use k for left, ; for right, left shift for dash, with my left ring finger, and my right ring and index fingers.
4. Probably either Dusk or Habin, they're both good at different things, and Habin's FL plays have always been fun to watch for me.
5. Hmm, my favourite ctb map is either Go 4 it, by JBHyperion, or Spec's Overdose on Xeno. Ascendance's Deluge on Evanescent is also really fun to me.
6. JBHyperion for sure, his mapping style, especially in platter and rain difficulties, just feels so nice to me.
7. I use all mods, although most I tend to use on easier maps, once I get to harder maps I'm mostly a no mod player, but I do like doing 4 mod scores on short easy maps, and HDHRFL is probably my favourite combination.
8. Solo, multiplayer just puts me off because I prefer being able to reset if I miss instantly.
9. Hmm, I guess to play, my favourite would be overdoses, as you could probably expect.
10. I enjoy ctb as a mode, however I do get annoyed at it sometimes (Especially with all the 1 misses I get xd)

10. Yes and No, because the pp system is dead, and in 2016 all map are easy and the star rating is shit, and certain player are hypocritical.

♦ At first, i was only playing osu!mania. Then i got bored of it and wanted to try the other three modes. CtB happened to be the easiest among them, so i tried playing CtB and It has been my favorite mode since then

♦ LShift for Dash, RShift for moving left and "end" for moving right (Laptop Keyboard)

♦ Those who often plays challenging maps

I first started 6 years ago but took a lot of breaks. So technically i only have like 3~3.5 real experience of playing ctb

2. Why did you start playing CTB?

My friend who got in to this game was a ctb player.

Default, Arrow keys and shift

Most of my old friend that used to play.

Mili - Utopiosphere, I generally don't like any ctb maps.

If there is a decent room within my skill range i would join. But if there shit ar 10 map i leave instantly.

Was randomly messing around with xpadder + xbox 360 controller and CTB was pretty fun with it.

Started off with a gamepad then swapped to keyboard after realizing its limitations.

The Pretender.

Started somewhere around mid 2014, started playing a bit more seriously in early 2015

2. Why did you start playing CTB?
Welp, some of my friends got me into osu!std. They abandoned it and after seeing cwc '14 which was live at that time I decided to give ctb a try

3. What playstyle do you use?
Left hand for movement: K + L keys
Right hand for dashing: left arrow key

4. Who is your favourite CTB player?
The player with the most amazing plays in my opinion would be Exgon, but the friends I have made amaze me more >////////<

5. Which CTB map do you like the most?
POMPEN MET DIE SUBWOOFER

6. Who is your favourite CTB mapper?
Clsw, his maps kinda shaped me into the player I am rn, because I practiced almost solely on his maps

Don't use mods a lot but i like DT and HR

Multi if people at least try to be social

Overdose/deluge or whatever is the highest diff

Well, I originally played standard but I sucked. A lot. Mania(no matter what skin, how many keys I use and what level I play) always seemed blurry to me so I could never play it. Taiko was rather boring to me and when I played CTB, I actually thought it was fun.

Default. I used it when I started playing and I didn't want to switch it.

2. I was shown this game by Zak at the time and it didn't seem like a bad idea.

9. I can see people getting this one and #5 confused, but it's the same map for me.

I was playing on a crappy laptop, and I didn't have a mouse available, so I tried all the other game modes. From this I found CtB to be the most fun after standard

D - right
Right Shift - dash

ExGon... some of his scores... I don't understand

I kinda avoid CtB maps... but I really enjoyed Taneda Risa - Wareta Ringo (TV edit)

I'm going to skip this one for the above reason

HDDT is my favorite mod combo, and I use PF a lot to get those SS's. FL is also fun

2. i saw that i could get more ranked score with the ctb converter, so i started playing it and it was really easy at the start

Std seemed weird but also it felt like those with actual tapping or moving skills from other places could benefit.But ctb was like "we limit the speed of the catcher to put everyone on the same level" It was nice.

Actively since around Nov 2011

2. Why did you start playing CTB?
I sucked at standard and wasn't improving so I looked into the different game modes. CTB was really easy to get into which motivated me to keep going.

3. What playstyle do you use?
NUM1 = left, NUM3 = right, z = dash

4. Who is your favourite CTB player?
Dusk - Always looked up to him, all the crazy FL records he did back in the days and still sets amazing records nowadays.

5. Which CTB map do you like the most?
Hard to pinpoint a specific map, but I really enjoy playing old ctb mapping, stuff from around 2011-2014. But every now and then there are really good "newer" maps, like for example ikazuchi, monochrome, Paranoid Lost, AXION... And of course all of the maps I created.

6. Who is your favourite CTB mapper?
Myself. Who doesn't love their own maps?
Apart from that ZHSteven, Spectator, koliron, Ascendance, DaxMasterix, Deif

7. Do you use mods? If so, which ones?
I highly prefer nomod but when I'm farming some older mapsets I use any mod. Depends on the difficulty. My favorite mod apart from nomod is FL.

8. Do you prefer to play in multiplayer or solo?
Solo. Because then I can always pick a map I like and in MP there are often people with shit taste or people who only pick popular maps. Usually I play MP only with selected people and less with randoms.

9. What is your favorite CTB Diff?
No idea, there are a lot of really good diffs to pick from. One of the diffs I really adore is Spec's Goldrop diff. In my eyes the closest to perfect CTB diff out there.

10. Do you like CTB?
Yes. At least most of the time.

1. I created my account on december of 2010 and started playing for seriously on july 2011, i played osu std first, then changed to CTB. During middle of 2016, I stopped like half a year and played std instead. I started back like 1~2 weeks ago to regain my skill.

2. Why did you start playing CTB?

2. I played CTB because i can't play std due to unstable surface since i played osu secretly during my hostel days in high school. Since laptop is prohibited lul.

3. What playstyle do you use?

3. down arrow = left , right arrow = right, and mouse click. I actually copied this playstyle from kenji, a former 1# rank CTB player during 2010~2012?, i'm not sure. I admired his hardrock plays during old days. The differences is that i'm a right handed and he's left handed. So it's pretty awkward using mouse on left handside.

2. I started playing CTB because it was easy to pick up and play from the start! =D
3. I use Default (Left Arrow, Right Arrow, Left Shift)
4. Melonsigh! (Always fun to watch and multi with!)

8. I prefer Solo since you can Keep trying and not wait for the others (Makes good Practice)

10. I Like CTB but its not worth it unless you get S > A and 1-2 misses for Full Combo. Besides that your scores arnt worth the time. ~~I do admit that i have strayed away from CTB from time to time to play mania and takio~~

1. How long have you been playing CTB on osu! for? 8 years although I did quit after ~4 years and came back around 5 and a half or so. A mistake, had to relearn ctb again and wasted 1.5 years doing so

2. Why did you start playing CTB? I ran out of space for my mouse and so I switched from standard to ctb

3. What playstyle do you use? I use 'a' and 'd' to move left and right respectively and left click to dash. Kind of weird I know

. I did use to use 'z' and 'c' to move left and right but changed to 'a' and 'd' just because I also play fps games and it seemed better

4. Who is your favourite CTB player? It would have to be exgon just because of some of his insane plays that he does. I also quite like Habin for his insane FL plays, I will never be that good at FL

6. Who is your favourite CTB mapper? I don't really know, the only one I really know of is spec

HD - Default mod that I will always use unless the ar is super low
HR + DT + FL - Ar <= 5 (HR: ar = 7)
HD + HR + DT + FL - Ar <= 5 (HR: ar = 7). Not a fan of doing this, one exception is ar7 which is pretty fun but if that is the case I would most likely just leave HD out. I also do this if someone has taken my rank from me and I feel like I want to take it back
HD + HR - 7 <= Ar <= 8 (HR: 9.8 <= ar <= 10). Still practising with this mod and can just do ar8, when I improve I would most likely use this mod on ar8+
HD + DT + FL - Ar <= 8. This is mainly for shorter songs and if I am kind of bored
DT + FL - Ar <= 6. I rarely use this combo, just for boredom on normal songs
HD + HR + DT - Ar <= 6 (HR: ar <= 8.4). This is my go to mod for normal-advanced songs
HD + FL - Ar <= 8. Just because I could not do HD + HR before
EZ + FL - Ar <= 10. This is just for fun. Cannot fc ar10 default songs currently. Too fast for me
HR + FL - Ar <= 6 (HR: Ar <= 8.4). Don't really use this that much, mainly if you cannot do HR + DT + FL.
HD + HR + FL - Ar <= 6 (HR: Ar <= 8.4). I sometimes use this but I prefer HR + DT + FL because that is more fun for me, more exciting and looks cooler when you actually get past 200+ combo

There may be other combinations that I may use but they are not that common for me to do and so I just left them out, most other combinations are done if I am bored or something.

8. Do you prefer to play in multiplayer or solo? I prefer solo although sometimes I do like to play in multiplayer, kind of sad there are not many games for multiplayer in ctb with good players

9. What is your favorite CTB Diff? Right now it is rain just because I can fc those songs and so it is the most fun. When I improve it would be overdose

2. Why did you start playing CTB?
-I was a really big S3rl fan back then, I remember that i was listening to Feel The Melody when i saw a correlated video of Pika girl on osu! and i downloaded the game, i played standard for few months then switched on ctb because it's a fun mode.

3. What playstyle do you use?
-4 and 6 numpad for left-right, 1 (not numpad) for dashing (it's really comfortable)

1. How long have you been playing CTB on osu! for?

Since early 2015.

2. Why did you start playing CTB?

I couldn't do standard at the time because my mouse was crappy and I didn't have a tablet (Until Christmas of 2015). I tried taiko but I didn't do good there as well. Then I finally found CTB, which was a more easier game mode for me. You don't even have to click or press buttons to follow the rhythm, you just have to catch a stream of fruits to the rhythm as much as you can. I also play CTB because since I have high-functioning autism, I find it useful for focusing and visual stimming.

3. What playstyle do you use?

Left and right arrow keys for moving. Shift for dash.

4. Who is your favourite CTB player?

I probably have no idea, since I don't focus on the top players of CTB themselves too much.

5. Which CTB map do you like the most?

Gahh, why this question? I mean for some reason, I only play standard beatmaps converted to CTB.

6. Who is your favourite CTB mapper?

I also don't really focus on mappers so I have no clue.

7. Do you use mods? If so, which ones?

I mostly use no mods for harder difficulties, but I use HR for normal.

8. Do you prefer to play in multiplayer or solo?

Please refer to question 5. As for standard converted to CTB, I often do 2 - 2 1/3 stars. (Well call me a noob, huh...)

608 hours, mm that's 25 days LOL, and i started playing ctb in 2015.

2. Why did you start playing CTB?

Because when i saw it's easy, fun and better than the other modes i started playing only ctb.

I play with Q for left and E for right. Middle finger for Q and Index finger for E.

Dakkychan, ExGon, Hyperw7, Rampage88, Deceitful. (I have more but i cant put all here XD)

2. Why did you start playing CTB? a friend invited me to play osu and he was a ctb player so I decided to play that way because it was the only one he showed me, at first I did not know there were more game modes lol, and when I knew It was already too late XD

2. Why did you start playing CTB?: Very easy, but some of the maps are so freaking hard.

3. What playstyle do you use?: Default, but I changed my keys to W and E because It's my STD keys.

Why did you start playing CTB?
Was trying out other game modes after playing STD for a year and found CTB to be the most fun.

What playstyle do you use?
1 and 3 to move and Z to dash

Who is your favourite CTB player?
When I was still learning CTB, the player who I always looked up to was Rael Kertia (ExCres) as he had taught me how to play CTB and was skilled at DT at the time. Nowadays, I look up to Zak, Tenshichan, and b-a-d-s123 for their amazing SS records, which inspired me to get better at SSing and have more #1s. It is more satisfying to get an SS or #1 than get more pp.

Which CTB map do you like the most?
Maps that are not overmapped, but still fun to play.

Who is your favourite CTB mapper?
No one in particular, as long as I like the map that someone makes, then I'm satisfied.

HD, but lately i've been trying out all the mods, and FL is second best!

Solo, I always get nervous and get destroyed in multi haha.

Converts > CTB Specifics; 2-4 star converts to compete getting number #1 + unique patterns which can either be cancer or fun.

for catch specific maps:
Cup: HRHDNCPF
Salad: HDNCSD
