@aqua: Namco has already released the method to unlock the Shinta Mode! It will be awaiable after October 1st, by the way.

１０月１日に発表する、真打モードの解禁コマンドを入力後、
タイトル画面にて「コインを１枚以上入れた状態」で
「１Ｐ、２Ｐどちらかの太鼓の右フチを連続１０回叩く」
ことで「真打モード」を使用することができます。

To release on October 1, after entering The Shinta mode of lifting,
At the title screen, "one or more coins into the state" in
"1P, 2P 10th consecutive hit the right edge of the drum either."
That "Shinta mode" can be used.

Another thingy fact is that the highscores made with the Shinta mode won't be registered in the Taiko arcade machine, but they are still awaiable for score submitting to the Taiko Dojo.

Plus, don't forget to check my last rough copies of articles! I still have to find a video about an old song for the Variety Dancers issue.

I think it means you have to hit the right rim of either one of the two drums
after one coin is entered in order to activate said mode.

Oh look, they finally shrunk the N64 into a handheld form. About friggin' time. I played Ridge Racers on PSP about 3 years ago now and it looked tastier than that DS version.

Can you tell I'm skeptical about Nintendo's marketing?

Ridge Racer games have never been done well on Nintendo's handhelds anyway. Ridge Racer DS was horrendous. First-party games, both Resi games and SFIV are going to rock though.

I think Don,Katsu and Donko appeared in another racing game by 765.
It's a somewhat-new(?) arcade game,but I forgot
it's name....
Nico nico douga has footage of it,or so I heard.

It appears that Senpuu no Mai (Ura) is unlocked with those 2 songs as well, which is exactly like Wii2's version.

...hey, that's funny. Speaking of updates, I've added somethin'new about Kani Prince, No Mai series and Cheats section. Now only the Shinta mode is left ^^

Anyway grats for the impressive result, colleague. It's nice to see that there's someone around the world who finds Taiko Time useful :3

song sung by Ayane and features separate versions

But Senpuu no Mai is song change, and that doesn't really count as "Ura" oni.

Nah it's fine, I'm in the process of linking all my maps on my own user page of the site.
I've revised the site's colour scheme/design, it looks a lot cleaner and how shall I say it... web 2.0 now.
I've also locked off the useless home page and made the map page the first thing you see when browsing to the domain.

@aquabluu: Also I don't know if you noticed but the start of Taiko Time glitches if you restart once. The only way to 'restart' so to speak is to restart the whole of osu! Maybe you can try moving your offset back another beat? I think that might help. Don't know how to fix this exactly, maybe make a new mp3 with some more lead in time? orz

Taiko Drum Master has apparently become an annual thing on Wii. So too has a new entry in the series leaking out through a retailer.

HMV Online is the offender this year. The site posted a listing for Taiko no Tatsujin Wii Minna de Party 3-dai-me. If I were the guy who had to translate these games into English, I'd probably write this as "Taiko Drum Master Wii Everyone's Party 3rd" ... or something to that effect.

The HMV listing has the game marked for December 2 release at ¥5,040. That's presumably for the software-only version. Namco Bandai usually releases a taiko drum bundle priced a couple thousand yen more.

Well, the rpg in DS3 could have been a lot more diverse, and many things could be added. Like poison notes, healing items, invisibility cloaks... the list goes on. It was also really annoying traveling across the mainland looking for secret items with monsters popping up every half second. A lot of things didn't make sense in the rpg either (how did Ponko's father end up being the bad guy?), but that's Namco for you.

I guess it's mainly an issue of lacks, as so many other things could be added. But I guess rhythm games and rpg's don't mix in all that well, for me anyways.

The boss fights were fun though.

Those new Im@s songs in TnT 14 makes me bored because of the so-so songs and the bad mapping.

But Miku? I don't think Supercell's songs are bad as a trash. You hate them Only for it's Miku's songs? Those Miku songs should be stayed, and I'm looking forward to Touhou songs for new Taiko games...
(PS: I think Melt is really a awesome mapping for me... It's not a joke)
