HP 4 is not appropriate for a Hard, especially when it is the same as Normal and Advanced, consider putting something higher like 6 or 5.

Spacing in this diff seems very bad, you didnt really made a difference between 1/2 and 1/4 spacings, so it gets kinda hard to know where we have 1/2 or 1/4. Examples:
00:13:695 (1,2,3,4,1,2) - This whole section you changed to 1/2 but kept the same spacing as 1/4.
00:21:546 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - ^
00:27:153 (1) - Should space them much more, it is the start of the kiai, it has a pretty strong beat and for same reasoning as before.

thats why 0.8x>1.25x slider is there


00:33:322 (4) - Instantly 1/2 with same spacing, that kills players XD

i dont think one note kills a player and also i always use the same spacing where there are the slow parts are amazingly obvious, and im sure everyone has heard cory at least once so they know. also that i dont want a buffed 4 star hard, plus there is a lot of preparation for it, at least a 1/2 slider or one stacked note to make sure the player knows that the spacing changes once again. but yes there are some 1/2 spacing jumps but only mainly because they arent on the slow parts, often before them

Spacing in this diff is really confusing, check it based on what I say, there are few more in some parts and I didn't list them all. Rest could be even more polished by getting more few mods, but overall is nice.

My main concern here is the lack of DS consistency in this diff. I don't think I've ever seen an advanced diff with DS variations get ranked (expect for SV changes in chorus, which is fine), so I'd just advice you to make sure that it's rankable as is (which I don't think it is)

00:01:219 (1,2,3) - 2,4x is a lot for a hard, and they're only 1/4 apart. Feels really understarred like this (Also, 00:01:920 - this beat should be clickable)
00:07:527 - Should be clickable, it feels really awkward, you could start the 4-way reverse here instead.
00:11:312 (4,1) - Those spacings should either be reduced, or be stacks, 'cause it doesn't play as good as it looks imo xd (It's twice the speed of the sliders in your map!)
00:18:181 (1,2) - I'd change their position on the timeline, and stack the new note on the long slider (https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5957942) Plays better and still follows vocals fine imo (For reference, you do the same here 00:19:303 (5,6) as I'm suggesting)

I hope you know where I'm getting with some of these suggestions. I'm just concerned about the excessive spacing when you're doing jumps. There's a lot of these, and I'd suggest upping the SV and reducing the jump distance a bit in the verse so it feels more natural to play :) (1,6x DS could be a nice guideline (These DS things apply to the verse, since the chorus is already 1,6x If there's any inconsistency in the chorus that's above 1,6x I'd change that too)

Just a note: This map kind of has a backwards cs scale as it gets more difficultn like toy's insane has a cs 6 while expert has a cs 7. Then you get to extreme and anime and they have 5 and 4 respectively. Not saying you have to change it, just pointing it out

  3. 00:23:509 (4,5,1) - I think it's better to stack, or lead into (1) because it would just play better imo (however looking at the rest of the map this seems irrelevant to say lol)

Insane

  1. 00:41:452 (3,4,5) - Stack these, so its smoother n stuff yehaj
  2. 00:43:976 (3,4) - Imo this jump is huge for an insane so maybe tone it down a little

okay so in my opinion, a better OD spread would be Easy OD 2, Normal OD 4, Advanced OD 5 (maybe 5.4 or 5.5 if u relly wanna giv pp), Hard 6.5, Insane and above are fine I guess, I think Insane should probably be 7.5 tho. Overall this is entirely up to you, you probably don't have to change it if you don't want to. Just a heads up. I do think your current ODs are a bit much.

00:47:340 (1) - ok this is gonna sound crazy but for all diffs, I think there's a distinct "ssss" sound (when they finish the word house" at 00:49:723 - (blue tick before where you end it now) so I think you should end the spinner there. might just be me hearing things but I'm pretty sure I'm right.

  2. Going to get some more opinions on this, holding off on modding this for now.

  1. Uh, your CS spread is weird. CS 4 on Hard, CS 3 on Insane, ehh. IMO, since you have the CS 6 insane as well, one of those two needs to change. I'd recommend the CS 3 Insane to be remapped/changed to CS 4. (Remap will probably be needed.)
The set still needs work, fam. Start stalking queues, try to get more experienced modders.

re-kds since the mapset from the OG cryptic mod was literal trash tier and basically all diffs he modded aren't there or are remapped now

responding to ez/nm later but i'll give my quick thoughts on the cs spread rn:

as far as i know (feel free to correct me on this, you know better than i do probably) cs doesn't really matter that much in terms of actually ranking a map, at least there's no guideline regarding it and its usage throughout ranked sets is sporadic enough as is. i get the gap from cs 3 > cs 6 > cs 7 > cs 4 is pretty weird all things considering, but toy wanted to make a cs 6 diff so i let him. i figured a cs 7 diff harder than the cs 6 would fit better than a cs 4.

looking at cs 3 insane specifically, the cs is low mainly because otherwise it'd be approaching 4.5 stars which wouldn't fit with the spread (unless i wanted to make another diff). i'll see about nerfing some jumps and making this back to cs 4, though, because i agree, the insane is definitely the odd-ball here.

also i would get experienced modders but all queues fill up instantly and the ones i do get into no one wants to mod this because it's a "meme" feels bad man

I thought this diff was fine. I guess it could be better but it looks like a pretty standard normal to me, aesthetically and rhythmically speaking. I don't like the 1/4 reverse sliders, and the one instance of a 1/4 gap that I said was fine is the only time in the entire difficulty you do something like that (talking about 00:15:378 (3,1)) so it's probably not appropriate either.

Ill preface this by saying 214 bpm hards are really hard to make in my opinion, so you've done a pretty good job already lol

Alright so a problem this diff has is really imbalanced note density. Compare this measure - 00:11:452 (1,2,1,2,3,4,5) - with this 00:09:209 (1,2,3,4,5,6), there's a really noticeable difference. The music may be a bit more intense but it's not THAT much. I recommend filling out the pink combo a bit. For example, 00:10:752 - could be mapped, 00:10:191 - is pretty intense but isn't mapped.

00:11:452 (1,2) - I mentioned in this in the last mod but I really don't like these double reverse sliders. Since this song is mapped like in the double BPM style, it would be like having double reverse 1/2 sliders in a 214 BPM map which is just poo in hard and above maps. Try to use a different way to represent the song.

00:17:200 (1,1) - these NCs aren't needed.

00:20:144 (1) - this NC should be on 00:20:424 (2) -
00:21:546 (1) - remove NC

00:22:387 (3,1) - This spacing looks really similar visually to 00:23:789 (1,2), but they're different timings. This can be confusing to the player.

00:30:798 (3,4) - Would look much neater if you lined these up.

alright so you need to clean up your combos lol, just stick to putting them ever downbeat tbh, that should work fine for the entire map.

I think if you keep in mind the note density thing I was talking about (it's mostly noticeable in the non-kiai portion of the song) this diff should be pretty alright. The kiai in my opinion is pretty well mapped.

So this feels like an Insane that was mapped like cs 4 at first, you realized it'd be too hard, then made CS 3 to fit the curve lol

00:04:723 (1,2,3) - make this the same spacing as 00:05:845 (2,3,4)

00:06:966 (2,3,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,1) - This is far and away the hardest part of the map by far. Does that mean you think this is the climax of the song? I think you should simplify / remap the rhythm. Delete this measure of the song and the SR drops to 3.8 lol

00:13:415 (1) - not necessary NC
again, clean up the NCs, unless its like readability or something, NC every other white tick should be fine.

00:35:845 (1,2) - looks neater if these are the same distance from 00:35:004 (1) -

This diff doesn't really need to be CS 3 tbh, nothing in the map really stands out to make it feel like a CS 3 map. I think the jump section here 00:06:966 (2) - inflated the SR so you lowered the CS to compensate or something lol. Remap the jump section and the diff fits just as fine with CS 4. I might be making assumptions so please correct me if I am. In that case, nerf that jump pattern as I said, or if you want, add more jump patterns like it during matching intensity sections in the kiai.

I really like the structure in this diff, but I'm not sure how good I am at judging the quality of cs7 extras lol I want to say it's a good diff but tbh i don't really know.

I thought this diff was fine. I guess it could be better but it looks like a pretty standard normal to me, aesthetically and rhythmically speaking. I don't like the 1/4 reverse sliders, and the one instance of a 1/4 gap that I said was fine is the only time in the entire difficulty you do something like that (talking about 00:15:378 (3,1)) so it's probably not appropriate either.

Ill preface this by saying 214 bpm hards are really hard to make in my opinion, so you've done a pretty good job already lol

Alright so a problem this diff has is really imbalanced note density. Compare this measure - 00:11:452 (1,2,1,2,3,4,5) - with this 00:09:209 (1,2,3,4,5,6), there's a really noticeable difference. The music may be a bit more intense but it's not THAT much. I recommend filling out the pink combo a bit. For example, 00:10:752 - could be mapped, 00:10:191 - is pretty intense but isn't mapped. added two circles at 00:10:752 (5) - and 00:14:677 (3) - hopefully that does something

00:11:452 (1,2) - I mentioned in this in the last mod but I really don't like these double reverse sliders. Since this song is mapped like in the double BPM style, it would be like having double reverse 1/2 sliders in a 214 BPM map which is just poo in hard and above maps. Try to use a different way to represent the song. ok mom fixed kind of i think

00:17:200 (1,1) - these NCs aren't needed. did the first one but not the last one since i feel like it's needed for emphasis on the vocal change also so follow points dont give me aids cancer

00:20:144 (1) - this NC should be on 00:20:424 (2) - yea

00:22:387 (3,1) - This spacing looks really similar visually to 00:23:789 (1,2), but they're different timings. This can be confusing to the player. i think this should be ok since the concept is kind of introduced earlier in the map anyways

00:30:518 (1) - remove NC this 1 is fine though alongside most of the kiai stuff imo

00:30:798 (3,4) - Would look much neater if you lined these up. i thought these were already don't ask how

alright so you need to clean up your combos lol, just stick to putting them ever downbeat tbh, that should work fine for the entire map. follow point aesthetics

00:41:733 (1,3,4) - make a neat triangle out of the tails of these sliders for aesthetics its a lopsided triangle have some respect

I think if you keep in mind the note density thing I was talking about (it's mostly noticeable in the non-kiai portion of the song) this diff should be pretty alright. The kiai in my opinion is pretty well mapped.

idk just feels like the kiai is really underwhelming to me, i dont like how you skip a bunch of tics like 00:32:060, the song's only 107 BPM so full 1/2 breaks feel like forever. 00:38:228, etc, fill in the gaps more. also kiai could use more jumps, the hardest part of the map is 00:06:686 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4) - which is fine, but the kiai could use some patterns that come close to that in intensity.

  2. 00:04:583 - i think there should be a note here, because whatever that instrument making that shaking noise in the background is called, it's making a sound here. adding a circle here is also a nice leadin to the next part
  3. 00:03:322 - applicable here as well, i kinda skipped over this. same reasons as above, minus the leadin thing
  4. 00:10:051 (4) - what do you think about ctrl g'ing this and making the two sliders 5° from perfect parallel
  5. 00:12:854 (2) - i don't really like this 1/2 here because it doesn't really cover anything and there's better options. you could do this instead if you wanted to ignore the vocal here and keep going with the rhythm, or do this if you want to map the 1/2 vocal here while not being able to map the clap noise. up to you, but i think one of these options are better
  6. 00:10:751 (4) - imo this is only applicable if you decided to change to map the vocal off my last point, but you should also do that here if you did it there. consistency is key, and there's a drawn out vocal that you can map
  7. 00:18:181 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - this rhythm ignores a lot of vocals and drums to follow the piano in the background, which imo is pretty bad for a high diff and it also feels weird to play because there's so much more important stuff going on in the song. if you changed rhythms earlier from this mod, try to be consistent with the choices you made there and apply them here.

  9. 00:21:406 (2,3,4,5,6) - this straight angle plays kinda meh, imo I would create sharper, more interesting angles here to work with the change in rhythm (which is neat btw)

  11. 00:24:910 (1) - starting here I think a rhythm like this works nicely because you click on the strong vocals and it starts turning into circles as the intensity rises into the kiai
  12. I think the kiai is mostly okay, I didn't wanna go into the rhythms because imo using different rhythms in the kiai is a fine idea as long as they're done correctly, and they seem okay to me. There could be more 1/4 sliders if you wanted to up the intensity but I don't think it's necessary.
