这图不太会摸... 因为挺多梗看上去都是有想法的, 那就大概点几个test不太舒服的吧 也就是个人认为有一点过了的地方 比较主观

  1. 00:15:334 (4,5,6,1) - 45接起来可能还行虽然有点卡flow 但是561这个角度太锐又很远 移动感觉不是很好 建议这里1 ctrl+G
  2. 00:18:294 (3,4,5) - 34有点远 移动感顿一下这里感觉不是很好 flow大概还好
  3. 00:23:031 (2,3,4) - 拐的角度有点急
  4. 00:26:584 (5,6,7) - 这个三连其实我不太理解它的意义...7应该是后面那个1/8吧
  5. 00:31:320 (5,6,1) - 这个flow感觉不是很好 虽然空了一拍但是这里间距体感上还是比较大又是钝角就有点明显了 个人偏向1在靠右下的位置

We only fixed a few things on Kira difficulty.
This mapset has an interesting mapping style and it's something I like for everyone to experience while playing this map :3

Anyways I think the hitsounds are really problmetic so I'm gonna pop the bubble for now.

[General]
* Okay let me ask the GD'ers: What's the point of using hitsounds? I'm talking about the hitnormal sounds on the GDs. I first thought they were muted, since they're way too quiet. Even with 100% effect / 60% music, I still couldn't really hear anything. We use hitsounds to give feedback to players. Therefore, they should be clearly audible for all clickable objects. I know this song calls for very soft hitsounds, but you went too much. So please increase them into reasonable volume. This is the current volume of hitnormal 11, 22, 33:


and the whistle is like this:


So even because of the large difference between them, hitnormal sound is even less noticeable. Same for 17th sampleset ofc.

* Also this


Wafu will give you a better mp3, so you might as well want to replace it, and you can fix the tags.

* You all can integrate the map's end. This seems more like gathering random difficulties rather than a 'mapset'.

* I also think the difficulty gap can be improved, but I wanna listen to the GD mappers' opinions too. So here's my opinion. This song can be mapped like double-bpm style, and Hard and Kira diff are doing that, using 1/4 beats on their base. But Easy/Normal diff don't. They're still being a raw-bpm style, where Easy has 1/1 beats as its base which feels more like 2/1 beats, and Normal has 1/2s which feels more like 1/1 beats. So to say, it's like having Beginner-Easy diff and Hard-Insane diff, while Normal diff is missing. Personally I think Easy could introduce some 1/2 beats (not just reverse arrows), and Normal should introduce some 1/4 beats for this double-bpm style mapset, because Hard diff is entirely mapped like they're just 1/2 beats.

* 01:14:741 (1) - This shape felt a bit weird, it can be more clean if the 1st-2nd dots' segment is parallel with 3rd-4th segment.
* 01:29:741 (3,4) - I get your intention but this can be a bit confusing because there were no such a long/complicated gaps before (nor after), so maybe it's better to just fill 1/2s out here.

* 00:37:636 (5,6) - Can I ask you why this scale is so small compared to 00:36:847 (1,2,3,4) - ? The music is getting intense imo.
* 00:51:847 (5) - hmm I don't get what this does. It ignores 00:52:044 - this significant beat and there's no dragging sound there.
* 00:55:695 (5) - Seems overmapped. I don't care much about triplets for emphasis, but I think they should be avoided on these quiet parts. Hope you reconsider about that, and all similar things.

Here's my opinion of the spread after looking at normal and hard: i kinda agree with you about it, but i think current gap works fine.

I mapped easy with 1/1 rhythms with only reverse sliders occuring at 1/2 and narcissu mapped normal with 1/2 beats. For the hard diff, tho it's using a double bpm style and as you said, in double bpm style maps lower difficulty diffs feel more like 2/1 and 1/1 beats, i still think gap is ok. Obviously Hard is mostly following DS and it doesnt use 1/8 beats anywhere. I agree that Easy and Normal can add some 1/2 and 1/4 beats in them but imo current set is fine. this is how double-style works. For players, there are exactly two different ways of playing this song: 76bpm and 76*2 bpm. I dont really think there should be a diff with, say, half 76 and half 152bpm rhythms. i guess that will actually play very bad cuz the player will have to shift between two styles, regardless of playing for none or for dt.

Spread can always cause some arguments, especially for such kind of double bpm style. from so many ranked maps nowadays what i can say is that the gap between normal and hard may be a bit, but not that much. They reflect 2 different levels of this song.

I do not want to add a little bit more difficult for difficulty gap. my diff will hard to read if add 1/4 beat …… clean and beautiful it's my wish, it's important than diff gap

But let's say: if this song was a regular 152bpm song, and we have those diffs. Then we will more likely to see those diffs as Beginner-Easy-Hard-Insane. We don't say a Normal diff - in this case, having some 1/2 beats - being an in-between diff, but more like a 'stone bridge' between diffs because jumping right into a 'new dimension' of beatsnap is a whole new thing, without knowing anything about the harder difficulty.

Easy-Normal is fine, because Normal is more than enough to be the easiest difficulty of the set already. But it's not hard to create a diff that 'introduces' how 1/4 beats work with this song, just a bit, before getting into a 'full 1/4' diff.

Hmm..I would agree that it will be good if Narcissu actually adds some 1/4 beats in his diff but seems like he doesn't want to do it.
But we can't assume that it is a 152bpm song so i think current way of alternation is cool xP
Also since you brought up this point, i dl a bit of ranked double bpm style maps, in Normal there are some maps that only have 1/2 beats with some blue lines being slider end, which also appear in narcissu's diff. And Hard is following ds so i dont find it a big gap. Dunno if it's really 'missing' normal...

* You all can integrate the map's end. This seems more like gathering random difficulties rather than a 'mapset'.

* I also think the difficulty gap can be improved, but I wanna listen to the GD mappers' opinions too. So here's my opinion. This song can be mapped like double-bpm style, and Hard and Kira diff are doing that, using 1/4 beats on their base. But Easy/Normal diff don't. They're still being a raw-bpm style, where Easy has 1/1 beats as its base which feels more like 2/1 beats, and Normal has 1/2s which feels more like 1/1 beats. So to say, it's like having Beginner-Easy diff and Hard-Insane diff, while Normal diff is missing. Personally I think Easy could introduce some 1/2 beats (not just reverse arrows), and Normal should introduce some 1/4 beats for this double-bpm style mapset, because Hard diff is entirely mapped like they're just 1/2 beats.

* 01:14:741 (1) - This shape felt a bit weird, it can be more clean if the 1st-2nd dots' segment is parallel with 3rd-4th segment.

@__Ag: No reason to change to 128kbps if we gave you the better one (or here if the link doesn't work in China). You should use the old offset 13163. I made the mp3 so it fits. No reason to still use the worse source, please change it.

Some problems with the new changes

  1. As Wafu said, the old BG is low-quality, therefore it's better to be changed. If the SB color fits the old BG and not the new one, find another BG that has both high quality, and blue-colored.
  2. I barely know about storyboard, but some things are inconsistent throughout the diffs. Only Hard diff has Widescreen Support and Letterbox during breaks on. Also the "mapper:someone" appears only on Hard diff. Everything else is shared throughout all diffs.
  3. soft-hitfinish22.wav is a bit problematic. It seems it has more than 5ms delay (at least Modding Assistant pointed that out) and from what I can see until 6ms there's no real audible beat. I think you can cut first few ms to remove almost-silent part.
  4. "Thanks for playing" on the end goes weird on other diffs because they did all different for the end. Easy is ended much earlier than there, Normal ended early too, Insane has a spinner on there.
  5. Epilepsy Warning is needed for all diffs as well.
The diffs are fine now imo, just some fixes on the SB would be great.

tbh i dont think there's a problem with ending at different spots.
ranking criteria guidelines say diff should end at same point, but imo it's not necessary. For Easy i think the diff can end early, the kiai is over and the remaining part is calm and quiet, even if there's vocal the music is really going soft so i dont think we need to map here.
Regarding the sb, even if the map is finished there will be a 'skip' button at the bottom, if you dont click it you can go through the song and see the whole storyboard.Just depend on your own interest. so sb is not a problem.
anyways i mapped a bit to make ending same as narcissu so it should be fine.[/b]

Different end is not a problem here. Still the storyboard is weird to me. Yes they can just not skip it and see the end, but they have to wait until it appears to see nothing until that. And they already 'finished to play' long ago so it's weird to wait for seconds to actually see "thanks for playing" sign.

Also Insane is more of a problem. There's a spinner on that spot, so they didn't even finish the map but it appears (actually they can't even see it clearly because it's a spinner). It doesn't make any sense imo.

@moonlightleaf: I'm talking about the hitsound 'delay', not the total length.




You can see that there's no noticeable 'beat' until around 5.8ms, and the ranking criteria says no hitsound should have more than 5ms of delay. So you should cut the intro a bit to remove the quiet part. Use this if you want.

Btw, why does the 'thanks for playing' look like 'playiny'? y and g are drawn same lol

Also can I ask you one thing on your diff? From 02:19:478 - to 02:32:110 - , many of the sliderends are overmapped and I think at least 5% volume is needed to not give unnecessary feedback to players.

I forgot to add this. I have no knowledge about the song's source, but Wafu told me that it's 100% unrelated to the source and is a random loli. So we suggest you to find a source-related BG instead.

and __Ag, I'm going to persuade you one more time. I think all the triplets on 01:03:689 - this part is unnecessary. There's nothing on the 1/8 ticks and it is emphasizing a quiet part. It's better to avoid overmapped clicks, as the players are reacting to something that doesn't exist on the song.
