So, there I was, setting up my offset cuz my computer is laggy. Then I thought, "Hey, what if everything is laggy too?"
And that's where I came up with this idea: input offset.
Basically, (and as you all know) there's a 'lil slider and a wizard to set up the universal offset in the settings. It shows you some bars, you check if they're lined up, yay everyone's happy. BUT, obviously there's some small input lag from, say, pointing devices and keypads/boards. It's small, sometimes nonexistent, but it adds up (I think). Now, I think there should be an input lag offset where it adds to your universal offset. Instead of being decided by your sometimes unreliable eyes, you use sound and click to the beat to line it up automatically.
tl;dr Add a 'click to sync' offset wizard.
Don't tell me that none of you have wanted this at some point too.
