The last section of Hanairo causes a lot of breaks but it seems being like 100x combo off fc still is worth over 300 anyways. Getting that close to a fc is actually quite farmable imo. I went ahead and added it (with the 99% fc value for consistency sake).

Farm mostly just means a map has a decent pp to skill required ratio. Even maps like koigokoro/daidai seem difficult until you have the necessary skills to play them. Farm maps barely within your comfort zone should still feel difficult.Keihyan wrote:

Most of the 300pp+ maps are recommendations from Bauxe and Lunris. If you aren't able to farm a map at rank 2k that's meant to be farmed by a top 500 player that doesn't mean it's not a farm map. Compared to maps like Dopamine, Dragonforce, Genryuu Kaiko, Image Material, Big Black, Chipscape, Rainbow Dash, Pochiko [Chewin], Furioso Melodia, Virgin Code, etc. these maps are very reasonable to fc.
I'll add united. If you have further suggestions then let me know. As more farmable maps surface and fill the list, less farmable ones will be phased out.
Edit: Oops, united was supposed to already be on there from an earlier addition. Must have missed it when I was dumping things into the list.
Edit2: Removed kamui. Was initially recommendation from axarious, but like calamity fortune, feels a bit out of place (mostly because od7 underates it a bit).

Had daisy, and akatuski added already. 161914 doesn't make the 130pp cutoff (129 for 99%) but I'll consider it if/when I add boxes for sub 130pp. Personally it just feels like there are so many easy tv sizes below 130pp (most insane tv sizes are in this range) that its pointless to make a list. Yeah, the aim/patterns aren't too bad and it's really just the couple of long streams so I'm not overly opposed to adding it. ~24 consecutive notes at 190bpm might be pushing for a lot of people but I'm not going to make that call myself.Clappy wrote:

I would but there are other maps I personally would rather play at the moment that, from my viewpoint have similar effort to reward ratios. Unfortunately I do not have infinite time. Thus I try best to exercise my judgement on what I think is reasonable and consider the input of others when it comes to maps I feel uncertain about.Endaris wrote:

Haven't played that diff myself but seems to be the common conclusion people have been arriving at. CRN diff gives good pp too from the looks of it and have yet to get bored of it. I've had some decent plays on it myself but always find a stream to misread and fail on towards the end. =/vsprite wrote:

Added (241 for 99%). PP values are at 99% just to be realistic since most players don't farm much higher than a 99% and pp values inflate the closer you get to 100%. Should be a good guideline for both players above 99% and players in the 98% range since inflation doesn't kick in as hard until you start crossing the 99% line usually.kiyumi wrote:

Pushed a bunch of updates for all of those getting ready to dust off their tractors and head out to the farm over the summer. I'm undecided as to what to do with the 350+ category at the moment as players are actually getting good enough at this point that it becomes hard to differentiate maps with multiple "unique" scores from maps that are simply farmable by top players. Then there are the maps that clearly give a high pp to effort ratio but are actually only farmable by like the top ~50 players or so. I've decided to toss a couple of these in for the time being.
Also, with the mapping meta shifting even more heavily towards tv sizes and, god forbid the song doesn't have a tv size version, cut versions the 130-200pp range is quickly growing more bloated in a similar fashion to the sub 130pp range a year ago. I might just get rid of those sections entirely over time or limit them to like 15-20 maps and let people bicker over which 15-20 are the most farmable in each respective category.
The 200-300pp range is looking more vibrant than ever. I might be a little bit lax right now as to what makes the cut for 240+ but seriously, if you want that much pp from a map you are going to have to git gud. Even the DT farm pool has a giant skill wall in this range so I think it's fair to be a bit more lenient here. There are obvious outliers in both pools but at this point you need to do more than just farm the outliers if you want to make it anywhere in the rankings.

Added the ones that weren't OD7. OD7 just doesn't give good returns for accuracy so even if you can fc it with high acc you usually don't get much for your effort.nya10 wrote:

There are just hundreds of tv-sizes at this point that give sub 130pp. So many so that it's not really worth trying to list them. These days we are getting to a point where up to 200pp is starting to fill up with them too.ShadyAngel wrote:

A lot of Priti maps are actually pretty farmable tbh they just take a more specialized skillset. They are typically high OD high *rating which means they actually reward pp for that difficulty unlike maps such as Scarlet Rose for instance. I think I'm at a point of agreeing with Bauxe when it comes to Priti maps.

You'll notice I haven't really bothered to update this thread in a while. If I ever do I'm just going to scrap everything below maybe 250pp probably because that's the current state of things. This was made during a time when farm maps were on the rise and people were still giving themselves pats on the back for farming the 200pp tv size whilst shit talking their friends who played koigokoro instead (tbh, the insane on koigokoro is probably harder with DT than a lot of nomod tv sizes these days...).

6* Imagination is a crazy easy farm map. Hell i normally play 5* maps and i have an fc on that
the map brand-new world in the 290 section needs to be rmoved. it isnt available for download anymore
