I can barely hear Phyreams voice above the ORIGINAL SINGER
Clearly cheating
xD Sorry, I tried to amplify my voice a bit so it was more distinguishable. I just knew people were going to have a hard time hearing it either way because it's kinda in the lower-midrange, so if you're not using a set of decent headphones or speakers it's going to be hard to hear... x_X I'll pick a song without the background vocals next week. Hopefully my recording interface will be back from repair by this week, or else I'm going to be in trouble
EDIT: One more thing I wanted to point out: the song I chose the first week is from the Final Fantasy VI (SNES) opera scene, when Celes, a character from the hero's party, takes the main singer role. She's singing to her lover, Draco, who's on the other side of the world fighting in a war. To me, it felt like I took the role of Draco and was singing it along with Celes; rather touching I think
The first part of the English lyrics: "Oh my hero, so far away now; will I ever see your smile? Love goes away, like night into day, it's just a fading dream..." You know, kinda like that ~_^
Lyrics hereAnother great song composed by Nobuo Uematsu
