im actually going through the entire map and changing all the straight sliders to curved (well most of them) to fit song more

Red = Major issue, you should fix this
Purple = Issue, It's better if you fix this, and can sometimes pass if justified

I believe the Hard is fine being called Hard...as for the normal+ yes its very very close to a hard (especially at one point) but I think the + can justify it

-> maybe I'm the only player having this issue, but when there are no custom colours, there are 2 "reds" ... and it's a little strange

With a song like this, I almost don't want the hit sounds to intrude on the music. Maybe lower the volume a tick or two during the quieter parts? With a song in this style, I'd place a good importance on the hit sounds since the song will naturally be easier, so it'll be easier to concentrate on how the song brings you in.
