-Profile of all characters in the series (and this means finding official art)
Unless we can use screenshots from the games, I think it's going to be difficult to find official art of every character...

Information gathering is no problem at all, but actually typing it all out is EXTREMELY TIRING. I need people to help me with it. Anyone who wants to help, I can give yo the login and password for Taiko Time (or if you have a Blogger account of your own, I'll send you a message so you can be an official contributor)
I can help, but I think it would be better if like we're assigned to which things we're supposed to be accomplishing. E.G. I'd probably have 0 knowledge on filling in the arcade lists. Also it's to save time just in case someone already made a page for this certain article, only to find out it's actually completed already.

I have a Blogspot account, it's on the followers list...

I can probably come up with some of the characters, but it'll involve a lot of Photoshop work. A lot.

About assigning work, I'll do that once I've gathered a few of us willing to write for the blog. I have the DS3 and DS2 song lists covered.(and if you need the arcade song lists I can always link you to the page on the Taiko wiki) Right now though, what is urgently needed is the introduction and how to play Taiko. Can you do that? :D

As for the songlists, what I've done is just a sample. If you guys have any suggestions on how to improve the lists, I'm all ears.

Well that's for the how-to-play part. For the introduction, I don't know how to describe it well... lol.

I really don't think having Don-chan in the banner is a good idea for copyright reasons... even if it is hand drawn.

Not like the blog is likely to get so popular where that would become an issue but still.

@Rokodo: I put the Taiko font on the front page, it's the 'i-love-epson' link. And typo on the word 'blogspost'. It's 'blogspot' :P Also, personally I think fanart works just fine. I've seen many bigger sites use fanarts on their banners and they don't get lawsuits or anything.

@crystalsuicune: Screenshots of AC is pretty out of my league. Maybe we can use the blank bar like Rokodo used and Photoshop in some notes/drumrolls, then have a picture of a drum explaining where to hit.

@Zekira: Can you do the song lists for Taiko Wii1/2 first? It'd be a big help. Try to follow the format as the example I gave (DS3)

On an unrelated note,I just taikomapped something~
It's Sayonara Heaven,a nice song by Nekomata MASTER.

Being a song with some tribal feel to it,I figured that this song
would go well with taiko.*shrug*
Lots of mixed streams (stuff like dkd and ddkkd) here because
the overall melody is like that...

I haven't actually made complex entries so I wouldn't know...

I'm assuming I can just send you a text file? Or are you permitting me to edit the entry directly (so that I can also experiment, lol)

About tutorial: actually it would be a really great idea if someone knew how to make Flash here. I'm not sure if blogspot supports it, but an interactive applet is definitely the best way to put a tut up. (don't look at me, I don't know anything about making the applets work lol) Just a suggestion.

EDIT: Errr wtf lol there's a bug with the sign in system with blogger. tl;dr, my account is permanently following Taiko Time and is currently unremovable. And I can also re-follow Taiko Time with my account AGAIN. WTF? So if I Follow again, there would be 3 followers, with 2 of them being on the same account. What.

Why is there no way to delete an account in blogspot anyway; I want to renew stuff :/

Yes, I'm permitting you to edit entries directly, of course. Blogspot uses HTML, by the way.

A tutorial with Flash? That sounds like pure win. But it's gonna be time consuming though- I recommend we put up a simple tutorial first and work on this later. The basic structure of the site still isn't complete yet. Zekira I'm gonna need you to help me complete the Wii1/2 song lists. Give me your email address and I'll send you the invite to be a contributor. :)

@Rokodo: That would be nice, so thanks.

@crystal: I'll update the list instantly, since it's just one map.

I have a feeling this is exactly it. I follow'd Taiko Time with my Blogger before I remember linking it to my Google account... wait this is odd, I'm pretty sure I signed in my Yahoo!, but now even Yahoo! forces me to sign to Google to sign to Blogger. What. Basically saying that whatever setting of my account that first followed this, I can't access it anymore. Lol.

I'm in the process of setting up a taikosu! subsite of my domain astoni.sh

Address will be http://taikosu.astoni.sh if all goes according to plan.

Need to find a suitable CMS with user account permissions that actually work unlike the Contao/TypoLight CMS I am used to.

My idea is to set up for each user their own usergroup that has permissions to edit:
a) Genuine TnT map links page
b) User map links page
c) POSSIBLY a profile page for the user

Taking aquabluu as an example:

Usergroup = aquabluu
Permissions of usergroup = <edit> authentic maps, custom maps - aquabluu, user profiles - aquabluu

We don't have to rehost everything right away, but I will be glad for volunteers to reupload maps due to my bandwidth limits!!!

Once the taikosu site is setup we can link to existing links for now and once they are found to be broken (or if someone volunteers) we can reupload to my hosting.

Blog: Do you mind if I switched to a simpler template while keeping everything we made so far? Having the front part scroll and the background remaining static is taxing on an old computer's RAM. If the background scrolled together with the blog it would be nice.

Taiko map upload site: Ooh :3 Looks like I'll have to repackage everything I have. Goodbye Sendspace, it's been nice knowing ya ;) Eh? What's the login box for?

You can make an account if you want to, though it is not necessary. We'll start the transition by hosting files on kodoup then we can link to them on our new site when it's done. Also, file hosting is actually against the TOS of my host so don't up/download too much so we can keep a low profile.

I'm also risking this as an osu! beatmap mirror so don't put all your eggs into my basket just yet. We ought to keep the mediafire/sendspace links to hand as backups.

Go for setting up a new template, I just put the foundations there for you. I personally was not a fan of that template myself anyway.

Alright then, I'll see what I can do. The list on the front page stays then, for now. You're gonna have to put the background in again after I change the template though. EDIT: changed. BG is reset, as I thought :P

EDIT2: Okay now I'm in a bind. Those small difficulty symbols in the song list aren't transparent when viewed with a simple template, but are transparent when the current one is used. Lol. Stupid Blogger default template designer. *looks for custom template* Rokodo, while I look for a good new one, Magic of trial and error worked :D Can you put the background back in there again?

No, and there's not a single competent blog or fansite anywhere. That's why I wanted to make one. You can help me out too :) There's too many articles for me to sort through by myself.

I had to apply a background first with the template designer to get the code structure (I'm not a pro designer remember). As such the blue of the font is slightly darker across the whole page, I tried to change it but the code does not seem to exist. As long as you are ok with it, I can leave it as it is?

I've redesigned the background so it doesn't look as cramped. Looks better now.

The background scrolls with the page now though. :P

HOW THE FUCK DO I ESCAPE!!!!!??????!!!!!!!!!!!

I keep leveling up but nothing is happening. Do I have to wear a specific costume or something?

The boss is invisible. You have to find a tile adjacent to her so that she reveals herself. Hint: look at the rock formations that 'surround' empty spaces.

Yeah be alert since she'll immediately attack you once you find her.

4th floor: basically a spiral maze, just work your way inside.

5th floor: IDR. This is the only floor with a resting place. It will cost you around 3000 yen (most expensive inn ever), and you can only do it once.

6th floor: IDR

7th floor: eye trickery maze. Basically just don't rage if you suddenly take the wrong way.

8th floor: pretty straightforward, just work your way to the last bosses, and watch out for ninjas. If you get to level 40 by this floor, you can clear it easily. I was level 44 when I got here. (provided you use all strongest equips of course)

Snake boss? You must mean the Rokurokubi. That's Tenyou no Mai.
As for the mermaid, the song is Bubbly Queen. Both are already mapped, go find them in the front.

You don't take damage at all even if you have the lowest level equips, actually. It's just drumrolls.

Hey,that probably explains why BRS ended up in the variety section.

BRS here is no longer just a song by Miku,now that it's a separate series on its own.
This kinda separated this song with Melt and World is Mine,so perhaps that's why 765
decided to put it in a different catagory.
Maybe we'll get Cyber-Wadaiko-2000 as the new 2000 for the lulz?

*sigh* I can barely pass Koibumi2000 on AC only in some certain places (and there are good quality of Taiko machine in those 'places'. Yeah, overall quality of Taiko machine in Korea is quite low.)
