Well, anyway Taiko map finished, though I think it needs to get mod. I made it quite difficult and use complex patterns so it would be lvl. 10.
(Maybe it's quite overmapped, but that's on purpose, though it should be suit well with music so I need modder's help.)
(And actually I don't care with overmapping, as there are extream example in TnT authentics... like 380 continuous 1/4 streams? lol)
(I broke 999 rule this time...)
(If ouran wants me to remap, I'll do so don't worry about that.)

taiko is a bit overmapped imo...
otherwise it's fine.
by the way...for the 0.5x part...since non 0.5x/2x speed can be used now (seems...), use a 0.75x or some..? really slow now.

so this got a taiko diff now. At least some reason for remapping this once again. Though I don't think this song suits this taiko overmapping.

I don't know why you'd want mods when you're an experienced mapper and your sets aren't even complete, but okay.

I had this issue raised with my monochrome skin in Rolling Girl - make the play-warningarrow lighter. Feel free to take the one I made in Rolling Girl.

There are a lot of tiny overlaps throughout that kinda bug me, but it's nothing to cry milk over.
00:59:593 (2,1) - This jump intentional?
01:40:028 (1,2) - This plays better if you use the same rhythms as the previous pair.
With a normal this hard thus-far, your easy better be awesome.

yeah, overmapped, I know, but you know, finding well suit & pretty hard & non-overmapped pattern is kinda hard to find though.
there may be a fix...

03:03:107 (4,5,6) - These sound SO off beat, it doesn't play/hear nice at all. This goes for the rest of the 1/4 in the ending part too.
03:09:629 (3) - Random slowdown sliders, uhmmm NO. These really are mean to put in at the ending of a map. Gets the player out of rhytm and some people would get a sliderbreak. Not very nice~
03:11:585 (4,5) - Ugly anti-jump.
03:12:238 (1,2) - Here I like the anti-jump because it flows better with the pattern, so keep this.

Changed a few things according to Garven's mod, as well as a few other things.
There are still a few overlaps that are off by a few pixels, unfortunately.

For the record, two new inherited timing sections were added:
152647,-100,4,1,1,100,0,0
154387,-100,4,1,1,70,0,0

Blue: Sugestion. Not necessary, but should take good effects.
Green: Notification or cosmetic thing. May, but don't have to be fixed.
Orange: Should be fixed.
Red: Have to be fixed.

  1. Actually, what for this "blank" file is in storyboard?
  2. Hitcircle is too large. It runs out of hitcircleoverlay. Try this one:

Well I couldn't respond for a few days... sorry about that.

ouran you didn't update my Taiko map fix... Is there anything wrong?
(and you need to add tag in there because I uploaded new one before you put tags.)
(and my case I like video in Taiko map though some part is off the screen... well just my opinion.)

I'm not amazed by the video, I'm amazed that he didn't just take the one from the ranked Bad Apple.

Even ripping the most popular one from youtube looks pretty decent (which is the one that I'm pretty sure Eph used, so meh)

Curses! My fixes have been steamrolled by collab version mismatches.

Just as a little note to anyone that does collabs, unless you're absolutely sure every person involved is working with the same exact version of the .osu at all times, please take the extra bit of effort to add/update only the contributor's part. Find the part(s) that the person mapped in Notepad, copy them, and paste them into the "official" collab map.

Oh c'mon, everyone is complaining about this map getting tons of 1, but noone says a word when your typical rock map or english map gets tons of 1, no matter how awesome the map may be.

Besides, I thought you said you didn't care about the star rating in #modHelp @ouran ;D

the star rating isn't the thing that can tell us what about the mapset is, so don't care about it. the map that can got ranked are good enough.

It isn't going to be unranked.

The video will be dereferenced from the beatmap files and the map itself will remain as it was before.

This is why we ask for permission before we use things from other projects. People shouldn't have to take the initiative to get you to recognize their works in your projects.

Okay guys. Here's the deal:

You do not need to credit people for a video that they didn't create. Encoding is not a creative process. You cannot copyright encoding. Therefor no credit for the video is fine (but I'm sure adding a single line crediting Ephemeral for his job well done wouldn't go astray -- it isn't going to cause you any harm).

Using skin elements should always be credited, in a similar way: add a line in the beatmap description (the forum post) saying where you got it from.

@BAT/admins: please do not resubmit maps for issues like this without first consulting with me.
