I remember playing the demo and enjoying it. I'd buy all of the episodes, but budget constraints. Also, are you gonna spoil the story for this one as well? ;3;EneT wrote:

Maybe try animating, i'm not sure if Gimp could do that though because I don't own it. Also you could try circular borders for avatars, just a few ideas for you.a1l2d3r4e5d6 wrote:

lol nope. I've only played Peace Walker and the first few parts of Snake Eater. But I know most of the story behind it... ish. I don't really mind if the game has been spoiled for me.EneT wrote:

Oh, maybe go on some art site and find some inspiration. :p It's all I can think of, unless you try animated borders (flashing colors, fading, etc.) I don't think many gfx shops do that, I could be mistaken.a1l2d3r4e5d6 wrote:
Quite a few threads already do those though. I was thinking more of something that can't be found on any other threads. :p
And yeah, animating is possible in gimp. It just takes too long and I'm not very efficient with it.
example:
Took me 40 or so hours to do.
Awww whaaaat?!! Then you should at least know the multiple Snakes. Naked Snake is the original Snake and the one who is given the title of Big Boss after killing his own mentor, the Boss, in MGS3:Snake Eater which is a prequel (and the best MGS game) and the first part of the story in chronological order. Solid, Liquid and Solidus Snake are all clones of Naked Snake. Solid and Liquid were born first as twins; Solid being the 'failed' clone and Liquid being the 'successful' clone. Solid is the main character for the majority of the series, hence why it's called Metal Gear Solid. Liquid has some sort of 'I need to prove myself' complex since he got the idea when he was young that he was the 'failed' clone. Solidus is apparently supposed to be the 'perfect' clone which is retarded since he ages really fast for some reason and he becomes the president of US prior to MGS2 where he loses the chair. MGSV takes place after peacewalker and before the old, original Metal Gear games where you played as Solid and took down Big Boss AKA Naked Snake.a1l2d3r4e5d6 wrote:

Yeah, I obviously know that much (or most of what you said, at least). My sheer curiosity, as well as discovering the wiki gave me prior knowledge should I come and play the whole series.EneT wrote:

Well the biggest spoiler of all is that MGSV is incomplete. It was supposed to end with you fighting the young Liquid Snake (AKA Eli) piloting a metal gear, but Kojima was fired before end of production so the episode was scrapped and the ending is left with you having to repeat a certain mission all over again, but this time ending with a plot twist. Bore. We can't even fully experience the real, canon ending.a1l2d3r4e5d6 wrote:

Well it's better to know now unlike me. I was expecting an ending that was so hype; living up to the rest of the game and to fill all the holes in the story, but I was greatly disappointed. The rest of the game and the other endings are still epic and worth it though.a1l2d3r4e5d6 wrote:

I suppose that it's better to spoil for others than to have their high hopes get crushed to the ground. :pEneT wrote:

Maybe they could add it as a free DLC in the future like they're doing with MGSO. Crossing fingers; I want that rematch fight against Metal Gear Sahelanthropus.a1l2d3r4e5d6 wrote:

I felt a sense of unity, really. We sat in a circle in these uncomfortable wooden chairs and were simply asked to start to express ourselves whenever we felt comfortable with it; the first to utter a sound shed all of his heart out in the air and that launched a desired chain reaction. I only listened this time around.
