ALso, I keep forgetting what mode you unlock for getting 30/50 crowns in Kantan...? I think that's the only thing I'm missing in all the games that aren't DS2 since I never bothered playing Kantan.
Regarding the screenshots lately, it seems that if my deduction is correct, the player only needs to do 2 more things to unlock the last songs:
-get 99999 counter
-100 crowns

When ever I try to download graveyarded maps, I get this...
"You can't download graveyarded maps, sorry!"
And lots of song in this list is graveyarded songs, for example, lots of aquabluu's and zekira's submitted maps...

WHAT. I thought they were supposed to be downloadable! Dammit I'm going to have to ungrave Rotter Tarmination, Carnivorous Carnival, Yuujou Pop, Ryougen no Mai and DON'T CUT...but in the meantime I could put it on as a forum download till I have the time to continue work on them.lepidopodus wrote:

EDIT: peppy has spoken about the graveyarded maps thing and he did say he was going to take some action, but he's planning to implement some leniency on some of the more 'popular' graveyarded maps, but he's soon going for the deletion of really old graveyarded maps. I'm not sure how he'll implement this, but just to be safe, post a reply on all the Taiko maps in the graveyard NOW plz lol

The problem is... DIFFICULTY SPREAD.
Basically one mapset can't include more than 6 maps and 2 Insanes, and these are not exceptions with Taiko maps.
Seems these rules aren't applied that tightly, but it can be problem if you want to make map with inner Oni ranked......
For example, I submitted Rotter and I want to make 3 Standard(N/H/I) + 3 Taiko(M/O/iO), but Oni is almost always I, and Muzukashii tend to receive over 4.5 star rate difficulty and get I. And this makes difficulty spread N/H/I/I/I/I. Even if muzukashii is regarded as hard, there are already 3 insanes so it cannot be ranked. (but as I said, these rules aren't applied that tightly......)
If this happens, I think I'll exclude insane, and this makes lame mapset which can't satisfy standard osu players. That difficulty spread rule is the biggest obstacle of Taiko mapping.
(Anyway, I'll keep hard under 4.45 star so it can be shown as 'hard'.... so it won't be N/I/I/I/I/I)
Well, actually I think I'll take some of aquabluu's graveyarded maps somedays... to make them ranked.

Below the HP stat are Attack, then defense. All the costumes you wear increase defense, while the 'neiro', the 'sounds' you can change your regular Taiko to, increase Attack.Zekira wrote:

One more thing, if you finish a boss fight without KOing it before the song ends, you lose. So much for not missing any notes. You actually have to pay attention to the stats.
