I don't think that i will pass all stages at all but I don't have time to record a lot in the next months but I really want to participate. so i want to record 2 free songs, 1 pop and 1 rock this week so I can at least kinda participate... if i make it far of course. Please stop asking if you can record this or that you can sing whatever you want just dont add any effects!

So when I read the rules saying it could be mixed down I thought it was alright to add reverb to it to make it even out with the song.
I just went through the comments though and saw that reverb wasn't allowed and only found out after I submitted my entry,
would it be okay for me to resubmit my entry without the reverb?

You should have listened to the example, it meant putting an instrumental if available.

If we pick a song for a stage, Can you shorten the song and if you're allowed to, is there a minimum length required for the judges to judge?

For the stages, please sing the entire song you are choosing.
For registrations it doesnt matter, just make sure your entry is long enough like say around 1:30 like a tv size heh.

Use your smart phone or tablet to record thats okie... u can download audacity for mixing your instrumental and your record voice...
I think for the duet u need someone who is also has a account here in osu...

Buy a headphone mic if you can't afford a decent one.
For the programs, you can just use Audacity,
it's free and simple to use.
Don't know about profanity, but I'm guessing you can't cover a really extreme song or something like that.

Although if they don't have an osu! account,
they won't be able to receive the prizes,
but I don't know why you wouldn't be able to sing with someone outside of osu! (Unless this is limited to osu! members only) ?

Since this is osu!idol, in order to join you must be registered on osu!
Only voice preffered in your case. You CAN use the beatbox sounds but they must not interfere with your vocals.iAshy wrote:
