Well, let me start with my former name:
Rin Kurigayawell, Rin is a nice name and it's part of my real name written in Japanese
Kurigaya, well, came from nowhere but it seemed like a pretty nice match for Rin....
UNTIL
Rin is too much of a popular name ;w; people think of so many anime characters everytime i go into multiplayer
I seriously lost it when someone misunderstood my name and thought that I was trying to be Kirito's waifu
Kirigaya Kazuto not Kurigaya goddammit
I got so pissed I went to create another account (yes multi accounting) and I got a name from a random japanese name generator
i kept spamming on the generate button and I got the last names "Ryusaki" and "Hatsue" which both caught my eye, I couldn't decide which to be as my last name so I decide to combine them (they seemed like a pretty nice pair too) so technically my name should be "Hatsue" but since everyone sees "Ryusaki" first might as well be called "ryu"
So that new account got called "Ryusaki Hatsue"
upon 3-5 days of creating that account the guilt killed me and eventually i came to confess to the osu (supreme court) and luckily they let me off with a warning.
one of my osu friends (Flareeee <3) was really nice and gifted me supporter so I could change my name. "Ryusaki Hatsue" was still active at that time so I could only change my name to -ryusakihatsue- and I added in the hypens cause it's cool
I still get called "Rin" by my older friends and I liked "Ryu" too so now my name is like "Ryn" <333
because I had nothing else to do besides watching anime
Yami and Hikari, put them together to form a sorta Japanese name which sounds legit
so i took yokiro instead
