omfg, Kogasa is f***ing me on Hard, or?? Stage Practice, i lost all of my live? Ah f*** <.< Ichrin is much easier omg o_O

My list of the Difficult of Stage 2 Bosses in Hard:
1st: KOGASA!!
2nd: Hina
3rd: Chen
4th: Cirno ("Perfect Freeze" always kills me for some reason)
5th: Parasee ... o.o (Why should she be the hardest Stage 2 Boss? For me she is so weak x_x)

EDIT: lol what, Lunatic Parasee ... is even weak for me?! I only failed in her 3rd Spell card because i got hit by an lonly big bullet (XD I'm stupid), but captured every spell? x_X

hmm... but to TimeOut, I'm only able to do her 2nd, 3rd and 4th spell. The first one, i'm not able to do it :(

GJ JInx, I opened the spoilerbox and suddenly screamed too much that my mouse broke. Out of jealousy, of course.

I at least want some Marisa stuff or something... A half of Frionel's room is like, already dedicated to Remilia merchandise (from simple posters to as much as hugging pillows and a few h-doujins), and of course it's making me even mroe jealous. And another 1/4 of his room for some Reimu and Alice stuff.

Can someone PLEASE tell me how the hell they clear Fujiyama Volcano (Mokou's card before Possessed by Phoenix)? That's the only card left that's kind of eating a huge chunk of my life support (I think I get hit 3-6 times total), making me rage and then I completely freak out on PbP and Hourai Doll, which are really shiteasy cards. Seriously, those explosions are just a bit too ridiculous...

Also, the death fairy just before Mokou (probably the strongest non-boss fairy?)... I sometimes can make it so that it spits out a 1UP, but most of the time it only spits out a Bomb. What's the criteria for it spitting out either a bomb or a 1UP?

actually Spell 202 (Vulcano Spell) isn't that hard. When she spam's lots of "bombs" and 3 streams of bullets, you're not allowed to move fast. Because you will at least lose your places to hid. You should try to let her shoot only in the left or right half of the stage, where the other half side is empty (not really, because there are bulltes anyway XD but much safe place after all). Repeat this and the spell should't be so hard anymore :D Train it on Spell Practice :3

Mhm the fairy sucks XD i always bombs there because i'll die there always.

Meh, if you've been grinding Hollow Giant "Woo" and can clear it more than 75% of the time, that death fairy shouldn't be a problem.

My only solution to clearing Fujiyama Volcano is using circular movement, and then again I have only captured it once out of maybe 20 tries on Extra... >_> but at least it worked. The explosions are really just too ridiculous... >_>

Also, this replay for a more ridiculous method (don't try this).

The death fairy drops a bomb instead of a 1up if you kill it with bomb damage. So, if you want to bomb it, use your bomb early and then finish it off with normal shots.

Or just play Border Team and safespot in the bottom left corner lolololol.

I was playing on 16-bit colors, which made Marisa bullets non-transparent and blocking my view annoyingly, in this case the blue bullets were merging

Yes I was playing on a crappy computer.

To think I also got hit twice by FoFS. TWICE. WHAT THE HELL.

If you don't like the idea of leveling up twice every second you can spend all your skill points on hardcoreness and shove your XP into mastery to make the game slightly more fair. I suppose if people wanted to get competitive, hardcoreness level adds to the badassness of your score.

I could hit 100 Mastery if the enlightenment code was actually optimized and didn't take an hour to process.

Not yet, even in that hour I wasted lol. There was bit of annoyance with my internet though and thus a Mystia-Cuckoo clock kept animating for like the next 8 times, and I had to refresh the page before it changed lol.

hmmm Why is Alice in TH05 much harder than Alice in TH07 in Hard? XD
I just started with TH05 on Hard, failed on Stage 5 because:
Stage 3: I lost 2 lives because of Alice o_O,
Stage 5: Only 1 life left, survived up to Yumeko, Died on the first bullet -_-

You're just not used to the 8-bit graphics, I guess. But the speed of things in the PC-98 games are indeed kinda insane compared to 6-9.

But TH07 Extra is the easiest Extra Stage...

...you should play that stage a few more 100 times, and you'll see how easy it actually is :)

I use Reimu A... the homing shot...

I have a lot of replays that I downloaded, watched them all the time, but still, sometimes I get stupid deaths like
- "AAH A LARGE WAVE OF BULLETS IS COMING" *presses directional button* *Reimu didn't move* *SPOOON*
- "Okay, this is the final wave yay!" *keyboard malfunctions, character moves to the left and won't do anything else* (have to restart my laptop) *SPOOON*
- "Ahh that bullet hit me!" *SPOO--* *hits bomb button* *..OON* (I still have 3 bombs)
- "I should be fine here" *incoming stealth bullet at high speed* *SPOOON*

...yeah I'm a noob.

and I hit the bomb button out of reflex sometimes. Even if the bullet won't hit me.

but okay, I'll try learning from your replay.

Don't use ReimuA, use ReimuB! (aka easymode actually that would be Sakuya A)

Here's another replay if you want that too. I believe I captured all but two spellcards (and one of them was Chen's) in this run.

What do you mean Reimu B is easy mode. Reimu B is totally pro at point blank shooting. Point blank shooting is not easy mode.

The easymode Reimu advantages of smaller hitbox, loldeathbomb timer, and slow movespeed, but without the horrible damage output of ReimuA that makes you time out everything.

ReimuB still does a lot of damage even when not firing at point blank.

...I guess cherry rate is also an advantage over ReimuA and the Sakuya shot types; you'll get borders quicker.

Sakuya-A sucks serious balls IMO... seriously, her shot type really doesn't make too much sense in terms of practicality D: Competes with Marisa-B for most useless shot type ever.

Weird... for some reason I kill people easier (and faster) with the homing shot than with the focused fire shot.

Subverted in MoF though... *I totally didn't learn "subverted" from tvtropes*
Wiped out Kanako in normal mode. In 1cc.

...and my friend who's not that good in Touhou plays better with SakuyaA than any of the Reimus. :/

Yumeko... <.< SHE IS MUCH HARDER THAN SAKUYA o_O -> lost all bomb and lives. Fail!

EDIT:
Hmmmm... a weird comparison of TH04 & TH05:
TH04 is very easy to beat XD Yuka lol
TH05 is very hard ... Yuki, Yumeko, Shinki x_x
TH04 Extra: the Stage is not normal o_ô
TH05 Extra is also hard, but seems like the easier one.

Well I'm used to playing Marisa, so it's a lot different. Reimu's shitspeed already makes me rage, but then Sakuya's whatweirdwtf speed combined with her shot type that doesn't even mesh with her speeds right makes me rage even more; being a Marisa user, my priority is getting the items, which Sakuya kind of horribly fails at doing since she kills things too fast. If Marisa got Sakuya-B's shot type, it would be the ♥♥♥♥♥♥st!

hmpf... so i used a lot of continues to get every Lunatic Stage Practise in TH07 XD (used 4 continues. 2 times because of Youmu + all bombs D:)

I HATE YOU YOUMU, YOU SUCKS WITH YOUR NON SPELL ATTACKS :(

but... I'm a bit disappointed of Youmu's Last Spell ^^"" Difficult haven't change after all, there are only big bullets inclueded, but easy after all <.<
