You do realise that many innocent civilians, including men, women and children would be caught in this nuke, were it to happen? And no, the nuke will end up harming innocents - there is no magical way to somehow engineer the blast to only affect extremists, a nuke will indiscriminately kill anyone or anything in its vast area of effect, believe it or not.
Sure, maybe nuke an isolated base, that might work right? Actually wrong - there may be rivers or lakes that will spread the radioactive contamination to villages/cities.
