Ori, Blitz, and Sona's splash art are a lot better compared to before

Every single one of them was a huge improvement in my eyes

It's pretty much a hit or miss from what I see.
This is only with the change to current splashes though.
All the new champion and skin splash arts look great imo.

I actually do not like the current Caitlyn art compared to the old one. They made her look way too innocent.

A lot of the new splash arts are really good but the big issue is they are saturated and do not fit LoL's art theme and look terrible when they are re-sized to ingame icons. Lee Sin's minimap icon looks like a bloody thumb for example. Big reason for this is Riot outsources it's artwork because the head of the art department is too busy jerking off to Leona and parrots to do any actual work.

Zilean's and Veigar's new splashes are much better imo

This game has definitely lost some of it's quality over the years. Not even sure why I'm even posting here since I quit back in November, but I still read the patch notes though.

Looks like the balance isn't getting any better either. Broken things still left broken while the weaker ones randomly get nerfed. Not sure why they keep nerfing the shit out of champions no one even plays (Veigar).

Especially because the item isn't called "Trinity Force" but "triforce". However, you can't translate everything from english to german 1:1, though they are still coherences such as "tri" and "Drei" in that case.

I am used people criticize the german version, the only good reason so far was that it getting confusing if you're not able to name the english terms if needed or to be understood.

The german dub is fucking horrible, you don't need any other reason to switch

I got an instant triple with Annie using it. Considering it hits up to four targets, I was able to get an extra 200 damage on my wombo combo, so instead of being really bursty on one target, im bursty to everyone .-.

gonna make a little post about a fairly frustrating and somewhat silly game I had in ranked recently, tbh this is just a minor rant post so don't take it too serious, maybe you won't even give a damn of this post but maybe you'll find it funny? I don't know, read if you want, probably not a very interesting post:
so the game started off with our morde locking morde top and the enemy picking heimer, as I somewhat felt to go mid I decided to pick a champ which can take heimer on relatively well thinking he went mid (ziggs). then they decided to pick zed, I asked morde if we should swap lanes should it be heimer top and zed mid (we didn't change summs though so I had ignite flash)
in game we realised it was zed mid so we swapped lanes, I don't know if morde knew zed countered me, he countered zed and I countered heimer, but at least he decided to go mid with tp.
eventually morde started to lose lane pretty hard (not 100% his fault as he got ganked a few times) zed had like two kills and he decided to say he didn't want to go mid and tpd top, as I couldn't really argue much I decided to go mid even though it probably benifited the enemies more (I had the edge on heimer winning lane slightly, and now zed could get rewarded more gold by killing me)...and well, I started to give zed a few kills as I didn't buy seekers cause I didn't know we'd swap lanes and he was fed, partly my bad but to be frank I had like no counterplay to it.
lee sin starts to complain that he is the only good one on the team even though all he really does is go to lanes when our laner there is dead and take the kill (not too much wrong with that even though their pantheon is doing so much more, giving his laners kills etc.)
around when I came mid ezreal starts to complain I haven't roamed even though I hardly got the time as I just swapped lanes, he starts to call me bad and tells me to uninstall, I decide to ask him what division he is and stuff and he claims he is plat 3. (this was mostly to see what he'd say...I got VERY strong doubts he could be plat 3 as he'd know I was top half the game without tp, and well, he fed too)
can't really think of many more important events that happened in the game itself except this...however the end game screen was somewhat interesting I guess?
well, we lost the game, it was pretty much lost, in the end game screen I realised I was basically the only one who did damage albeit us having morde and ezreal, I think I had roughly twice the damage dealt to champions compared to my team, wanna know who did the least damage on our team? ezreal.
that's pretty much it for my mini-rant, this is a true story so yeah, don't know if you'll care about this post as it's probably uninteresting to you, but I found it slightly funny and wanted to rant a bit about it, people thinking they're good in silver and their team mates being bad when they're like the only team member.

oh yeah, I talked a bit with the enemy heimer after the game, he seemed pretty cool, he said I did pretty well (or something along the lines) which was a nice change of pace, glad that someone compliments you and recognizes that you didn't do too bad...he also wondered why we switched lanes too as he said it helped him more than it hurt (and it probably helped zed too).
not a bad game though, although my team did pretty poor I'd say (I could've probably done better too), the enemy team deserved the win I'd say, their pantheon did a pretty good job at getting his team ahead

You shouldn't have bothered asking ez. Instead, just mute him. Negativity only makes the team morale and attitude worse. Losing is part of the game. just move on.

And unlike Sejuani people don't ban her yet because not a lot of people discovered her strength yet

I usually build one tank item after the jungle item so the 25% bonus health becomes efficient as quickly as possible and then build a BotrK unless I'm behind. I don't build triforce or any other damage items afterwards (maybe a hexdrinker if I'm up against a triple AP comp).

People get pissed pretty easily when they're losing. That's just... it. I also hate the "I'm the only one doing well" statement. Accomplishes nothing at all. Just makes you look like a jerk imo.

Also, yes, it's nice when someone on the other team compliments you. Pretty rare.

also I kinda don't care much for that loss, it's more about me ranting about some people in the community saying they're better than everyone in a game they did...kinda poorly in? sure I can understand "sorry I'm having a bad game, I can do better" or something but "omg team uninstall I'm plat 3" is...kinda not what I like to see from an adc doing the least damage on the team. I mean he expected me to roam when I was top without tp just as I went mid, probably not realising I spent all game top, says something about game/map awareness I'd expect from a plat player.

also @Lambda-chan: he was like S5 I think, he could be a smurf but I strongly doubt it, I was slightly surprised he wasn't B1 or 2.

I don't even think ezreal was pissed, just think he thought he was like an amazing player who deserved plat but he was stuck in elo hell because of silvers, in other words most players who belong in the bracket they're stuck in
wasn't a bad game though, although my team had pretty controversial mindsets imo, the enemy team seemed to be pretty solid, a pantheon and zed helping each other snowball and a heimer which did pretty consistent (dealing the most damage in the game), their bot lane couldn't be bad either as they seemed to snowball off of ezreal...

btw what do you guys think of champion balance right now? I've picked urgot in ranked and not had people complain so it looks like the community is getting more accepting towards "troll" champs

I don't think Urgot is that much of a troll-champ. He has pretty good damage and can snipe a specific enemy. Haven't played him myself in years though.
Regarding balance, I think Riven is still too strong. I don't know about the competitive scene as I'm not following that, but the combination of high damage, high mobility and survivability is in my opinion just way too strong. Fizz was about the same but got finally nerfed.
