Final sequence of Taiko 13 is revealed, with two songs only. 'mint tears' as expected XD
I also enjoy the new ura. But how about SORA II or yuujou POP? Etude already has a enough hard 10 stars map, but what about the songs which is not popular because of the easy maps?aquabluu wrote:

It's even got our favorite dkkdkkdkkd stuff :>

Only 15 misses now, though that doesn't count the leniency of wrong hits... which I kinda evidently notice on the last pattern where it has somethign like kkdkkkdkkkd then switches to kddkddkdd and etc. Really interesting patterns, actually.
Okay. Zeki-katsu?Zekira wrote:
I'm wasting my time playing the Haya Series on owata, hahaha
Haya-Haya Saitama2000 = Lol.
Also, the titles are just hilarious. Family Dokodon, Kurenai-Kirenai, Speed Punishment, Lalala Sadness (what), Hikari no Hayasa He, Rotter Continuation... etc... lol, just look for yourself: http://forum.hkowata.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=299 . Press the upper left button and just choose the genre
EDIT: Whoever made a Haya of Yawaraka freaking used 2x. I just broke my keyboard >_>
Also, I can't access the Uras of the Hayas with them. When I try to press 5 on Rotter Continuation, for example, the browser tries to load something but always fails to do so...? When I press 5 again to go back to normal, now even that's gone too :/ Also happens on Yozakura's Haya
Follow my mapset's timing, that one's pretty good. Lot of timing points though. I'll replace the current one with yours once it's done.pokedigi wrote:

Kimi no Akari. If there's one easy Namco Original you'll ever play, make it this one. A love song, and tribute to Taiko 13 before we part ways and head over to Taiko 14...This description makes me wanna play it, if only my uncle's computer didn't suck >_>
Rotter is by far the hardest song everNo way, that's imposibeeeeel D: I had Noruma Max on that when I played it for a while in Japan while I almost failed on Ryougen :/ Well, that's because I know the end stream, anyway... But since I was inexperienced with it I got tired easily and when I got to the Balloon Note I was like "ah screw this" and hit it only one time, leaving 765 more presses :>
Yami no Tamashii is listed as an 8-starWhat. This should at least be freaking 9-stars because of it's almost non-ending patterns of streams and WTFBalloon Notes and I find it harder than Taberuna IMO.
Kumasan Ura is a case of memorizing the beats.See?! I knew it! >_< bllllllllllllll This is why I can't believe Frionel FC'd this: he sucks at memorizing things

Also Mittenz, go FC Ura since it's easier than RotterI mean really it's all about streamreading and I can probably FC it first before I FC Senpuu. I'll try it on osu!Taiko soon enough when I can find a video card for my uncle >_>
ALso, someone made a custom map for DS3's Theme Song on owata and it's well-made IMO (the ura at least, I haven't tried Oni yet). It has an Oni and an Ura
http://forum.hkowata.com/viewtopic.php? ... it=tag765m
I also call dibs on taking it to BSS once it's out, if I haven't already. I fell in love with the song all of a sudden o_o
EDIT: There's just this freaking one derp pattern at the endstream of Senpuu that's preventing me from FC'ing it. Hint: 'Mittenz' favorite pattern' :>

Is the 2P map the one that's supposed to be played by 2 players (the one where the notes are split into the two players to make only one melody) and that when combined they form one feasible notechart? Or does this map really change when there are 2 players?
Speaking of which, how DO you enable the 2P exclusive map splits on the arcade? The songs I know that have 2P maps are Saitama2000 Muzukashii and Hare Hare Yukai Oni
2P map is a kind of ura. There are many song has a ura DP maps: Hare Hare Yukai(M/O) Dragon Spirit(M/O) KAGEKIYO(M/O) Mori no Kumasan (O) Many Wow Bang!(O) and Ridge Racer(O, not avaliable in Acrade game).Zekira wrote:

Still, Ryougen and Kita are more hell than Rotter Ura is. And possibly Etude op 10-4's Ura, as I FAIL at performing long strings like that.
Hataraku is deffinitly not the easiest, IMO Kita is the easiest.Propeller_Cap wrote:

I think that everybody have is own weak point on taiko no. sometime guys have trouble with long stream, other with high speed (end part of rotter URA, because trying to memorise the beat is not pretty fun, for myself I love to play without thinking) or complex structure (DDDKKKDDDKKK is pretty hard for me because I'm right hand writer). BTWaquabluu wrote:
For me, Kita<Hataraku<Ryougen< Rotter
Personally, my weak points are streams with random patterns added onto them (Ryougen, Kita, Etude's Ura). And also for some reason I just can't seem to perform dkkdkkdk perfectly (Hikari no Kanata he, Akuugan Yuuei ac 12.5) or dddkkkdddkkk (Kurenai, Sengoku's Master).Ksndr wrote:

for myself its rotter<ryougen<kita<hataraku
that is for OSU, but I think it could be different with arcade taiko and drum stick!!!!
BTW do you guy know how to play the different beat map of taiko ranbu on DS ?? and the very slowed BPM tracks of EKIBEN2000??
Yawaraka Ura is to train you how to how to play TAIKO with less strength. Once you understand it, you don't need so much strength. That's what Kurenai does when you're in 8-9 stars.aquabluu wrote:

@crystal: you do realize the mp3 you gave us of the DS3 theme started postmaturely and is missing a few milliseconds? A premature start of recording (AKA lead-in) is obviously the more logical choice, unless you used something else to get the MP3...?
EDIT: Errr, Totoro theme song on DS3? Or am I reading that wrong?
...are they seriously going to wait for June 30 before they release the full songlist? D: I WANT MY KURENAI AND/OR PUNISHMENT NOW
Also, story mode yey! It even includes a damage system that was hidden in DS2! (like Drumbot-reborn dealing insane damage on you compared to the other bosses)
EDIT2: Oh god yes, there's one thing that none of the console version games will ever beat the DS games at; CUSTOMIZABLE TAIKO AVATARI think I need to make way for a third Zeki-taiko... but what should I call him? D:
EDIT3: I'm glad they're not removing any features ever since DS1; the ranking system still exists yey, but I will :SLKFHNLKJ if that thing asks me to clear Hataraku or something for the last rank hahaha
Also, notice how the dancers became 4 now and not just 3 anymore? Just felt like telling lol

aqua, do you have a list of stuff to know on the Wii and Wii2 versions since I just got my Wii today and my first priority is getting Taiko Wii and Wii2 to work... Also, keep in mind on Wii (not Wii2) the Classic Controller has a tendency to double-register Don on the + pad, making songs like X-DAY2000 very very difficult.Zekira wrote:
