Players can play with whatever mouse, tablet, computer, skin, settings, clothes and haircut that they want.

You can see the rules and use your common sense to answer these questions.guitartsword wrote:
I think I'm not the only ignorant around osu who wants this question to be answer, of how are the rules for the tournament?
I mean, are the competitors allowed to use skins? Use their own talbets or mouse, and keyboard, only tablet or only mouse?![]()
Are all the computers with the same resolution and specifications, are there some default mouse, keyboard for all computers and what type are them?![]()
Are the competitors allowed to use their own computers or laptops?![]()
Are there some changes done with the visual settings that are unchangable ( like no video, no skin, ignore beatmaps skin/sound, no image, etc..)?There is no knowledege that is no power

Are the competitors allowed to use their own computers or laptops?Do you think they play in like football world cup in Brazil, where they are invited to one country and the staff providing them laptop? Hell no.
Well I think your question was kinda stupid though. Just think about it yourself. Could you play to your max. performance if you don't use your own skin/pc/mouse/tablet/keyboard? You know all OWC players are playing their matches at home so why would they switch to different devices?guitartsword wrote:

during esports at LAN events, players use different chairs desks and computers from what they're used to, only their peripherals are brought with them, if OWC ever gets that big that will probably happen tooVnSoul wrote:

I know and you are right, but you just cannot simply compare Osu!with other games like LoL, Dota2, SC etc. In Osu! you are just way too dependent on your own setup unless in other games. It just will not workRiince wrote:

no it was my fault, KRZY. I was being a bit dickish (before I edited post 10 times due to massive boredom) but tbh I dont want to hear 'not being a dick' from loctav, but he did initially say it with some reasonKRZY wrote:

Someone by the name of xasuma has all the broadcast Group Stages on YouTube.pooptartsonas wrote:
I noticed the Group Stage VODs have been deleted, if the Twitch channel has not checked the option to save VODs permanently then I would do so.
Twitch no longer saves VoD's permanently. If you want to save it permanently, you have to make a highlight out of it. I think they keep past broadcasts for a max of two weeks now.pooptartsonas wrote:

That's more likely to be DoS attacks. If it was Bancho, every player would disconnect.[-Cloud-] wrote:
Welp, it's more about Bancho. Every game players are disconnecting.
So players are getting picked on? How?Minifrij wrote:

I would feel kinda awkward, when every screen appears black and it's silent for like 20 seconds. Like 4k people are watching nothing, while waiting that the game appears again lol.Plaatinum wrote:

I haven't watched much today, but I will have to give credit toPeppysmoogipooo where it's due. As vocal as I have been about the negative side of things, I will say I did notice a significant decrease in the amount of fake combo breaks last week. There were a few, but not nearly as much as before. Kudos.

There was no reason to add loser's bracket for this cup. Loser's bracket must define winners more accurately (1st, 2nd, 3rd places). But nothing can to be defined accurately since permanently disconnectes ruin owc. There are too many random. This OWC can not be legit.
P.S. I guess, korean team is stronger, than russian team, but last match Russia-Korea is just dc roulette, nothing else. Random > skill difference.

I think OWC 2nd and 3rd place players should get badge too
OWC's second and third place players should get badge too, It's always 1st place players who gets the badge on their user page. And the 2nd and 3rd players doesn't get anything except few support months
But people will forget who placed in 2nd or 3rd place as time goes because there's nothing that shows who got which place stuff. Like the first and second OWC.
We know Taiwan won first OWC and Korea Second. But anybody know which country got 3rd place? Some poeple might know but not many people really know about 2nd and 3rd place countries. Plus, there's no wiki for first and second OWC.
And it's too sad that they achieved 2nd 3rd place so hard and only few people will remember them, and eventually, forget 2nd, 3rd players.
So they should be rewarded badges too, for their hard work and effort-making it to 2nd and 3rd place. Like Olympic. You know, they have gold medal, silver medal, and bronze medal for each 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place. So if tournament staff make 2nd place and 3rd place badge, it will surely look good on them, and they will be somewhat satisfied that they can actually get something from becoming 2nd and 3rd place, and they got something people can see and remember. They should be praised too.
