  2. Get rid of Kiai fountains/flashes, they're not rankable for taiko.

Small mod incoming~

[General]

The .mp3 must be between 128 and 192kbit/s, you'll need to lower its bitrate.
Notice that the offset might change depending on how you convert it.

Add "taiko" to the tags?

Custom combo colours aren't really neccessary in taiko difficulties, but it's up to you if you change it or not.

Are those breaks in the kiai-time parts really neccessary? I don't think so, and the song doesn't really change here either.

01:06:117 (63,64,65,66,67) - a kdkkd pattern would be nice here. If you don't agree with this pattern, at least make sure the first note is a kat.

Can't really say anything negative about your mapping style. The easiest diff seems to be a bit too monotonous since you tend to copy/paste a lot.

General Terms: I like this map, Sound great for a Taiko no Tatsujin official map.

I think the Moment Minus difficutly can be considered as a Futsuu since it doesn't contain any 1/4's or other hard stuff. Star rating is just being broken, as always.

I can also agree the minus is a futsuu diff. Unless there are a lot of complaints I don't see a problem ~

to m4m people: I will mod your maps (prioritized by who modded first) as soon as I get free time. I have exams and other business until May 8th, so it might be delayed until then.

  3. 01:43:859 (11) - As with the consistency above. I understand the transition into the next section, but with the change of the guitar, I'm sure it fits 01:45:407.
  4. 01:52:859 (43) - Use a d here? Again, the same roll as before.
  5. 02:05:246 (66) - ^
  6. 02:29:923 - 02:30:310 - This feels a bit empty. Maybe add a d to 02:30:117 to keep that slow pace.
  7. 02:33:020 - 02:33:407 - Same as above. Same style as before? But instead, add a d to 02:33:214 and a k to 02:33:407.

  2. 00:52:955 - 00:54:310 - This is quite long. So I'll help you cut it short. Since 2 notes of different colors will be easier to play here, I would suggest removing 00:53:343 (37,40). This is the lowest difficulty and shouldn't have something that long.
  3. 01:05:536 - 01:06:697 - Same with this part. My suggestion is to remove 01:05:923 (46).
  4. 02:04:762 (46) - Same as above.
  5. 02:26:439 (21,25) - Remove these as explained above.
  6. 03:19:085 (44,46) - Explained above, but removing these will give a smaller portion and sound nice. Plus adds a little variety from the first 2 kiai.
  7. 03:26:826 (75,82,88) - Removing these will make this part a little easier.
  8. 03:31:085 (93,95) - Try removing these, it will a a nice touch and make this part easier to play.
Good luck, Minus needs a little more touching though. The rest are pretty well made.

Edit 2: Makar fixed an OCD issue with the overlay and I changed the diff names upon OnosakiHito's suggestion (kantan to come).

Hi, sorry I've been so busy as of late.

Looked through the map. Here's what I have to say

[General]
Should consider making the Kantan and Futsuu have 1.4SV to make the SV consistent through the mapset. Lowering the SV will only make the jump from Futsuu to Muzukashii harder.

[Oni]
Didn't have any real issues here.

[Muzukashii]
Some parts of this felt a little too similar to the Oni. But the progression between the two is actually not that bad. No major concerns here.

[Futsuu]
There's a lot of continuous mapping without breaks, which makes this feel more like an easy Muzukashii than a Futsuu. I'd suggest putting some breaks in and making the breaks consistent throughout the map. Some examples of what you could do are:

For the beginning, cut out a bit of the density using the lyrics as a base to work from. Parts with lyrics and drums have more emphasis over parts with just drums in lower difficulties, so you can remove some of the notes where there aren't lyrics to make it easier. Doing that you can easily turn the beginning of the map from this into this. As you have it right now, if I was to bubble this and it got qualified, it'd be unqualified pretty quick by the QAT Gods.

You can use the same idea as above throughout the song to cut a lot of the density and provide more breaks for the player to catch up / read patterns. Not going to post a ton of examples because I don't want to trample on your mapping style, but you do need to remove some of the density from this map so it doesn't have continuous 1/1 and has a bit of 2/1 spacing.

To further that, there are some parts of the map that are actually more dense than the Muzukashii, such as 01:30:117 (5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12) - in the Futsuu compared to 01:30:117 (6,7,8,9,10,11,12) - in the Muzukashii. This shouldn't happen. Ease up on the difficulty in sections like this.

[Kantan]

The Kantan has quite a bit of issues from just a quick glance over... Luckily they aren't too hard to fix, but they're pretty general issues with the map. I'd also like to quickly point out that my suggestions are with a beginner in mind. These might make the map seem monotonous or too simple, but that's not a bad thing when it comes to beginner maps.

The first issue is that while the patterns are kept relatively simple, they are still too dense overall. Many 1/1 quintuplets could easily be made into triplets to give more 2/1 spacing in the map. Examples of this are:

- Remove 5 from 00:19:278 (4,5,6,7,8) -
- Remove 11 from 00:22:375 (10,11,12,13,14) -
- Remove 17 from 00:25:472 (16,17,18,19,20) -
- Remove 23 and 27 from 00:28:568 (22,23,24,25,26,27,28) -
- etc..

Some suggestions during the first kiai that should make the rhythm a bit easier to understand for newer players.
00:55:665 (25) - Move to 00:56:052 - (Lyrics are more prominent here than drums, despite there not being a drum hit here)
00:57:214 (28,29) - Remove 28
00:58:762 (32) - Move to 00:59:149 - (Same explanation as before)
01:00:310 (35,36) - Remove 35
01:01:859 (39) - Move to 01:02:052 - (^)
01:03:407 (42,43) - Remove 42
01:04:955 (46) - Move to 01:05:149 - (^)

Repeat that same pattern flow from 01:06:697 to 01:16:181.

Try to apply the same ideas from beginning section and the first kiai throughout the rest of the map and it should be significantly better.
