Indeed. Mine are only to whore/promote the programs I use. It's actually quicker to access through start menu, especially with the typing/quick run feature in Windows Vista and 7 these days.

Polish is damn hard, and I really mean that. Terrible grammar and letters like "ó". Many people don't actually hear the difference between "u" and "ó". There's also that funny error people do using syllabe "uo" instead of "ło". :3

Natteke's setup is just awesome.. i love the corner table and that bed is so close to computer.. mmh too dirty here to actually post mine.. and i don't have camera either.

Desperation file backup go!



I took the base unit from school as a freebie, and to give you some idea as to the specs it has a sticker on the back with a genuine serial number for "Windows 98 SE".

I put my own copy of XP on it via the CD-ROM drive.


Specs:



"Why would you even want this?"
If I can run XP on it and it's not being used, I'll take it. Always useful to have the extra machine.

LOL I don't leave it on all the time, only when needed.

Besides, computer doesn't use THAT MUCH by comparison to fridge/washing machine etc.

Like what strager said, it's two different accounts. I don't allow him to help me - in fact, I don't let him near my account at all even though he "offers" to help (maybe he's just taunting me, or maybe he's serious - even I don't know!), because it makes me jealous how easy he can get the S and that I use 10 times more than the effort he puts into getting his S's.

I'm catching up though - I'm in the 4000s, while he's in the 2000s. My little brother is in the 6000s (and dropping =D)
We compete in Multiplayer whenever possible, although I will lose more than half of the time...

This is OCZ Platinum Series 2 GB DDR3 Memory sticks.
each memory stick is 2 GB and is covered on both sides by heatsinks.

Note: I have to do a clean install now since windows update fucked me over.

My Dad's setups usually last for around a decade or more and still stay better then the standard.

(GTS 250 currently, which are essentially lower power consumption 9800 GTX+)

Well, I'm now on 2 cores and 2GB DDR2 RAM whilst my disassembled system lies in a box. I'm currently awaiting for parts to arrive before I rebuild.

Not really. I require the speed for encoding video on the fly, and with the heavy multitasking I force the thing to do, the grunt is nice.

My 22" is only just tolerable for 1080p. If I can easily see individual pixels I get extremely irritated.

Kwut? My 2006 classic runs osu! play mode at 150fps @ 1920x1200 so I couldn't possibly see the problem.

My 24" @ 1920x1200 is all I could ever see a use for. It's not like any video's going to be higher resolution than this, most webpages have thick margins on both sides already, and games are sharp--almost always sharper than their UI textures. ._.

Desktop space no. I had a second monitor but I wasn't even using it.

Bye speakers + amp - you served me well. No longer using enough to warrant the space and heat.
Bye touchscreen - you found a home in the first osu!arcade unit (I miss you as my fullscreen spectogram...)
Bye 17" monitor - gave to parents for their office PC.
