I've been playing league longer than Morello has and he has slightly more games than I do if you count normals + ranked. I'm a pretty casual player I play maybe 5-10 games a week if my work schedule allows it (or if I want to play Smite instead). Yes they do play it when they aren't working. I have several rioters on my friends list and I play with them sometimes.

As someone who has participated in a few playtest (Warwick stuff) It's really not much different than basically picking a newly released champion in ranked. That's from my experience. Major mechanic changes like season changes would obviously be different.

Jinx is such a great champion holy shit

I saved up 6300 IP today and decided to buy her since I've been maining adc for quite a while now without having played any of the new/meta champs such as Lucian or Jinx. I like AA-heavy champions such as Jinx because I think my kiting has gotten pretty decent (been maining Caitlyn and Vayne) and.. damn. I thought Vayne was op because I crushed nearly every match up post level 6, but Jinx is just on another level.
I tried her out in a ranked immediately after buying her, went 12/3 and got 2 quadra kills. I don't think this had anything to do with me having luck or having bad enemies, this champion is just love <3

Also I decided to become a one-trick pony because that's apparently the fastest way to climb, guess which champion I'm gonna pick.

I was playing Galio Support, but I had to sell some of my items to build some ap cause we didn't had the damage. Also is warmogs the new cool thing to buy our Lee bought 2 of them.

Not really. It's still a pretty awful item, but can be situational. Both spirit visage and sunfire cape give more effective hp than Warmogs while costing less gold.
That lee sin was essentially a ball of health that probably got melted by Sivir in about 3 seconds.

I'd maybe consider it on champions that have abilities that scale off their own health like Volibear, Sejuani and Shen for example.

They really need to bring URF mode back. There really is no game mode to cool down on after a bunch of terrible ranked games other than co-op ai.

Dominion is filled with player created bots
ARAM has been way to frustrating to enjoy lately mostly because I always get stupid shit like Trynd and Udyr every game.

If u have LOLreplay installed and running, it will save any games you have played and u can just upload the replay from there

LOLreplay has never worked for me so I uninstalled it months ago D:
Maybe if I just don't play for a couple of years until Riot implements a replay system I will be able to view my 10 latest games or something.

Sejuani can't 1v1, you get easily invaded and you have no way to defend yourself unless your laners come.

Against Udyr I like to pick Mundo and stop him from splitpushing/teamfighting, it works wonders because he can't do shit aganinst those slows :D

I love how 1-2 months ago I was talking about Zilean mid being insanely strong and soon after he became a top tier pick in competetive play. :V
At least players haven't found out how to play/build Talon yet or LCS teams are just too good to counter him with pink wards.. there's still hope.

They won't hardcore nerf Zilian before his remake. If anything they will nerf his global passive or ult and call it a day.

I know 100% if they decide to nerf Talon he will be losing the silence on his E. Was already talked about in a giant ass thread when they removed Leblancs silence a few patches ago.

Welcome to the league of nerf cycles where things are nerfed so much pro's are actually starting to consider jungle Warwick over stuff like Lee sin and Elise.

You don't want any champion you like playing to be picked in LCS or Worlds. Equals hardcore nerfs.
I'll take dull variety of that any day.

LCS is a reflection of what the currently strong champions and meta picks are. The reason you see champions picked in LCS nerfed are because the people in LCS use the strong champions. If there was no LCS or way to see top players play champions would still be nerfed because of how riot gathers information on champions from players that study the meta-changes from patches, so saying that LCS causes nerfs to champions is wrong, but not far from the truth since champions with an advantage in the meta are often picks LCS leading to an almost parallel correlation.

Still not entirely correct.

Stuff isn't only nerfed because of competitive play unless your name is Leblanc.
Solo queue stomps get nerfed all the time like Darius and Akali for example.

LCS = more popularity which in return means more people bitch and moan about said champion which can = nerfs. There is a correlation.
All it really shows is just how horrible Riot is at balancing a game.

Champs aren't really picked for the meta anymore because lol nerf cycles ruined any hope for that. The champs that are picked are picked because they are overwhelmingly stronger than the others. Generally what happens when your entire balance philosophy is to nerf and nerf then rework something just to nerf it some more (Olaf).

Udyr feels like a good counter to Gnar, but maybe that's just for low ELO. Turtle stance can block damage if you get hit by his poke, and tiger takes off like 40% of his hp in each trade. You can just back off when he's Mega Gnar.

He is annoying top lane when you are melee against him. Basically a vayne that gets tanky as hell randomly.
Not sure why they keep making ranged top laners when they have always been super problematic in the past and even now.

Most of the games I spectated had people building him like a god damn ADC. He's just going to get melted once he transforms since he's so squishy.
