This topic was made to make browsing skins easier. It's a simple guide to how make your skin topic more friendly. Also, there is a list with all skins avaliable for osu!

Skin Information
[General]
Skin Name: Your skin name will go here.
Creator: Name(s) of who made it.
Theme: Tell us what theme your skin is based at.
Version: Self-explanatory
Tags: This can make finding your skin easier.
Download: Download link

[Data]
Size: Aprox. size of you skin
Is it fully skinned? Yes/No. (Gameplay/Menu/Taiko/Catch the Beat - only?)
Screenshots: Screenshots go here. (Adding a spoilerbox is usefull for people with slow connections)

[Misc]
Creator's comment: Self-explanatory.
Updates: Leave your updates here (Again, a spoilerbox could be very usefull here)
Requests: Since no one is perfect, you can use this to request help to your skin :)


A few hints for you!

Screenshots uploading
Since you'll be taking photos of your skin, use SHIFT + F12 to take photos and update it automatically! Your screenshot will pop up in your main internet browser, then, just copy the link.

Also, you can always use uppy!

How to INSTALL the Skins downloaded from :

The Updater (Extras Tab)
• You don't have to worry about installing it. The own updater will install it for you!

From the Forum/Web
• Most of the Skins that you download in the forums are in a .rar or .zip. You MUST extract them to the Skin folder where your osu! is installed.

Check this:Step-by-Step made by Hanyuu

How to USE the Skins that you downloaded:

• Open Options. You'll see the following options:

Options Screen

• Click in the Skin button. You'll find this:

Skin Selection Screen

• It's pretty simple now. Click to highlight the name of the desired skin, and then press the Back button.
(You can also set some options such as use or not the skin's sounds)
Note: Always use skin cursor option will replace the per-map skin cursor with the current one from your active skin.

That's it! Enjoy your new skin =p

Can you please remove BackwordsOsu! and Upsideosu! both of which were mine and both of which are outdated.


If you are wondering my old deleted account originally had backwordsosu! but deleted=comments and posts deleted

EDIT: Remove Invisosu! too please.
