Reason why this follow-point is that its minimalistic and barely visible which make u focus more on circles and reduce the glow.

There will be. I just wanted to get the night time skin correctly done. I felt the original skin was lacking in that aspect and decided to revisit it with Planckian Locus. After this major update is finished, I should start working on the daytime version. I been wanting to do it for quite some time, just never mention it because I didn't want people to know about it and then have to wait. Once everything is done, there will be Luminance: Planckian Locus and the other one, which I will not revel the name yet. Redon did a really good job on the skin, and I know a lot of people that mixed both of our skins together so I figure I would make it easier for those people. I personally think it is the best looking skin made so far. Redon made the skin really well.vaidax5 wrote:

As of right now I am trying to figure out color coordination right now and redesigning a few elements. Still got a lot of work. It has been so long since I used a bright color skin, so it may be tomorrow when I get done. I have a lot of play testing to do to make sure it is the best skin before I release it.
Hitcircles were redesigned because I removed the slight transparency the rings had so the combo colors will produce at the brightness hue. Because of this, it was harder to read stacks, so I removed part of the outer circle. As for the black border, you don't really notice it in motion. It just slightly helps break up the stack and if someone wants to play with background showing, they finally can.Agrrox wrote:

The skin uses many different factors that is not addressed in the article. On top of that, the article is from 2003 and most of the sources are no longer there. The article mention that green and blue may be used if the brightness (hue) is turned down. This is how I was able to use these colors in the first skin. One thing that the article did not mention was the use of the color purple. This is because purple has the highest wavelength and uses a lot of energy. Because of this it will take longer to adapt to night vision. The skin does not use any purple colors (unless it is forced by osu!). In the Planckian Locus update, the main focus is color temperature. The article did not touch on this at all. The article may have applied to the first skin, however it was majorly flawed. I started on it, and it is mostly finished, however I will have to play test it and I am still updating Planckian Locus because osu gets updated quite a lot recently. Standard is done. It was a good start, however it did not fill the purpose that I wanted it to. Planckian Locus and the Day Time skins will be the only two that gets updated once I am finished. Planckian Locus shouldn't have any outdated files in it unless I am missing something.Agrrox wrote:

Reason why the retry and replay buttons are diferent is that they are not in same style.
Also i want to notice that some SD and HD files dont match, could be replaced.
