Fun map, it's really slow though. I would change the slider velocity to 140 >.<
But if you intended it to be slow it's ok.

Because in Taiko no Tatsujin is 1.
But in osu! most player like 1.4.

About KinKoto maps.
I use two different timbre from original sound to made these map.
They are Jazz drum and Taiko drum.

Reinstalled osu! recently,so I'm back to taikomapping.^ ^
First up:Fixed Evans (Oni) map~added a bunch of notes,
since the old version is a bit too easy to be called Oni..

Working on a new map,BTW(*coughGanymedecough*)

It's confusing because some of the Namco Originals are actually from Namco games, such as the Ridge Racer songs (Ridge Racer and Rare Hero), Dragon Spirit Medley, Tower of Druaga, etc.

Namco Original = Not from other games but made by Namco Taiko team.
Game musics = From other games even Namco games. (KAGEKIYO is from other Namco game)

Can you point them out? I purposely put some jumps in Hard, but didn't know whether they should be there or not.....Anyone can give me tips on where I should put jumps and where I shouldn't?

Jumps should be regulated. Most of the time when doing jumps, you have to make sure that the player should feel as if they have to do so; this usually means jumps are reserved to key points during a song. (yeah my Oibon Jumps kind of like defies this aesthetic) You can also just periodically use jumps for an increase in difficulty; just be aware though that jumps must have a New Combo, and that they're not overused.

@arken: That's exactly the problem; Namco has mixed the songs majorly into those 2 categories several times, it's confusing.

This song is...well,slow.Very slow.
Which is troublesome since I'm used to mapping
faster songs (say,BPM 140-200)

Pretty low note count for this one,but it's still pretty tough.

Next up would be either CONTRACT or Waxing and Wanding.

I have (well, I used to, haven't checked in a while) the power to do that (but I probably won't), but it's going to be a little difficult because taiko scoreboards have to be reset then and I'm not allowed to do that - it causes problems with people raging and stuff~

mattyu, you should change that. Taiko scores aren't that hard to attain, and the song's only been ranked for a few days, so it's not too late yet.

They're both Taiko, but with different quality. The one with the background sounds is more ''stereo' and stuff (the sounds only come from the right speaker, listen closely. Same with X-DAY 2000 and Hataraku 2000). The sound on the current mp3 in the beatmap is crisper. If you want I can change it easily, it's just a matter of offset.

How hard they are to attain isn't the problem, it's this:



and unfortunately delete scores and reset leaders both fall under that category... + we're not reallyy allowed to use those options, so...

Lepidopodus you're just a killer!!!!!!!! you may try the taiko rocky theme song...it was the first taiko song I played when I came to shinjuku...it's in AC 10!!! i can't find the video on youtube...

BTW does anybody FCed hataraku2000?

Actually there WAS AC 10 near here but a few days ago it was upgraded to 11...;;

Tests have been made as to when I tried to re-time Punishment. It was simple; count the number of 100s I make. To have less bias on my timing, I played that first before playing with the current one.

First:
-My Timing: 58 100s
-Current Timing: 51 100s

Second:
-My Timing: 63 100s
-Current Timing: 37 100s

Third:
-My Timing: 50 100s
-Current Timing: 49 100s

So yeah, I lose. The current one is better, so yeah, don't bother with that anymore :| It's almost nigh impossible to perfectly time a song like this, so leave this as it is.

...well, that was tiring, playing Punishment 6 times in a row. :|

Oh, there are some features needs to be fixed.

Actually I'm thinking about making TaikOsu map. Well It can take several month, and actually I'm going to very busy since march. I know I should learn more about mapping and I don't know whether make it ranked or not, but I want to try it.
Here's my Top 5 most downloaded maps among 137 maps.

2. THE IDOLM@STER - 41 times
3. Rising Weather Hallelujah - 40 times

My local video store has three, all of Pokemon, all from like over a decade ago. They amazed me when I was a kid. They still amaze me. They are all Japanese ones BTW, so nice poster. I love those things. <3
