Mod requested by PM.
NOTE: I did not testplay this beatmap. These mods are all from going through the song at 25% speed, making notes of things as I went.
Columns 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
Compulsory stuff:
05:56:156 - you've got a note inside a hold here. Move it. Preferably to 2. You can get rid of the note at 2 on 05:55:984 if you want or move that to 1. I would recommend the latter as there's not really much there that isn't continuing from before.
First part:
In general:
Before the speed change, there are quite a lot of stuff on 1/8 or even 1/16 beat snaps. By using 1/4 for the whole thing you're rather limiting yourself. It does in part depend on how hard you want to make it, of course. But there are a few places where a weaker note (or, occasionally, nothing at all) that happens to fall on the 1/4 beat is mapped in favour of a stronger note that doesn't.
Go through at 25% speed checking the notes are in the right place.
It sometimes seems a bit erratic where you have and haven't put holds, and what stuff is being mapped to, particularly with regards to holds. I've only mentioned the more extreme cases of this below but there are various others around.
Detail:
00:13:299 - add a note here? There are softer notes that have been given double presses, after all.
00:18:270 - add a note?
00:20:499 - move to 6?
00:25:127 - As far as I can make out, the only thing that is happening here is the singer's tone is in the process of changing. There's no reason to start a hold and have a press for that. On the other hand, at 00:25:299 there is the start of a word of the song and a note behind it, yet no presses on the beatmap?
00:25:641 - what is this mapped to? The note that comes to prominence here is continuing from before and only comes forward relatively because the singing stops (yet the hold from earlier that I mentioned above continues).
00:28:727 - there might be something there. After listening to it at various speeds multiple times I still can't tell. There IS a note at 00:28:770, although you may not wish to include it (1/16 beat snap).
00:31:127 - there's a relatively strong note here which you may want to add something for.
00:32:499 - there is something here but 00:32:584 (1/8 beat snap) is stronger. Up to you if you move/add or even just leave.
00:33:013 - why is the hold split in three? This would be better as a single hold the whole way through, or even as a double hold all the way through.
00:34:556 - add a note?
00:34:899 - ^
00:37:470 - there is nothing here. There is something at 00:37:556 (1/8 beat snap) though.
00:37:984 - delete this.
00:38:670 - add a note (or even 2) here.
00:39:013 - optionally add a note here.
00:41:413 - I think this note is actually 00:41:456 (1/16 beat snap). Or you could just get rid of it. You haven't put an equivalent on the note 5/8ths of the way through the next hold, after all.
00:42:441 - delete. If you want a note in that column, make the next note a double.
00:45:184 - this doesn't want to be on the same column as 00:45:699. Move one of them.
00:46:813 - there's a rather prominent note here (1/8 snap) which I would say is more warranting than having a hit as well as a hold on the bit after. Perhaps change this bit to like this? http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/1461087
00:48:270 - putting a note on 3 here would fit nicely if you do as I suggested just now.
00:49:127 - why does this only get a hold when 00:49:813 gets a hold and a press? They're basically the same.
00:49:984 - add a note?
00:52:513 - would be a more suitable point for the change in column (1/16 snap)
00:57:870 - note ends (abruptly) on the 1/8 snap line after the point where your hold ends
00:58:384 - ^
00:58:898 - ^
00:59:413 - ^
01:00:613 - and why did you end that one there? End at 01:00:913 (1/8 snap)
01:01:127 - end at 01:01:427 (1/8 snap)
01:01:641 - end at 01:01:941
01:02:156 - end at 01:02:456
01:03:870 - end at 01:04:170 (all these are 1/8 snap)
01:05:584 - end at 01:05:884
01:05:927 - try putting these on a different set of keys. 1, 2 and 4 would do, moving the press on 4 afterwards to 3.
01:08:670 - make one of these a hold. In the following bit, there are beats every 1/4 beat, none of which are notably stronger than the others.
The whole following section - you have two things here that you could put holds to. Switching seemingly at random between one and the other is rather confusing. Either stick to one, or at least have some sort of pattern going of what you do.
01:18:270 - why is there a double press here? Get rid of the one on 5.
01:31:984 - nothing noteable here. There is at 01:32:070, though.
01:32:841 - move column 2 to column 4?
01:35:241 - nothing noteable here. there is at 01:35:327, though.
01:37:813 - errm, what? This isn't mapped to the background music. This isn't mapped to the singing. And nor are either of the other two holds that happen at the same time as this note.
01:39:356 - add a note
01:40:041 - move to 01:40:084 (1/8 snap) or delete
01:42:441 - why the hold?
01:48:441 - why the switch of keys? Isn't this just one note here?
This whole section - there doesn't seem to be any difference in the music between some things that have been given single presses and others that have been given triple presses.
01:54:441 - move to 01:54:484 (1/8 snap) or delete.
01:56:670 - move to 01:56:713 (1/8 snap) or delete.
01:57:184 - move to 01:57:224 (1/8 snap) or delete.
01:58:041 - end at 01:58:341 (1/8 snap)
02:00:098 - make these four single presses flow on from one another. Perhaps like this? http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/1461166
02:09:527 - perhaps change this to a more zigzag-like pattern? The sounds are alternating after all.
02:10:213 - similar here, except they want to be more consistant this time.
02:11:070 - flip the columns of these next two presses around.
Second section:
02:25:470 - why is this a double?
02:26:498 - would be better on 02:26:456 (1/8 snap)
02:33:356 and onwards - Having 4 hits is just getting in the way of making a decent playing experience, and isn't really justified. Reduce to three please, and adapt the positions to make it more comfortable to play. And example is given below but you should change all of them. A possible exception is when there start being held notes (in the music) at the same time as the beat.
02:35:070 - move to 3
02:35:241 - move 3 to 2
02:35:413 - delete 3
02:43:298 - this is really weak. Do you really want a note there? ditto 02:51:527 and a few others as well.
02:46:041 - move to 3 or delete.
02:52:556 - what? Why are all the notes of the last one in this as well?
Some holds around here might be appropriate. Up to you, though.
To be honest, it's rather difficult trying to suggest stuff for this section, as the whole thing looks like a mess to me. There's repeat presses for notes with no similarity whatsoever, the quadruple presses, sometimes with every note of the previous triple press and sometimes with none of them, with no obvious reason why that would be the case, and the sheer bulk of notes on each press makes it awkward to find suitable places to suggest for the other notes to go. And there are presses where there's nothing of particular note in the music as well.
03:17:584 - get rid of 2 and 6?
I was going to go through the whole thing but I've got to go now. Sorry. If you want me to, I'll have a look at the rest, but from a quick glampse, the third part looks a lot better than the first two.
That break section - if you want to break it up, 04:33:356, 04:33:570, 04:33:698, possibly 04:33:870 and 04:34:041, 04:34:213 and 04:34:384 could do with presses.
Thanksx333 for the mod~~~ UPDATE! Very long mod XD
