This isn't actually mine, it's my brothers, but I helped him with most of it (though he did make the wallpaper himself), so I though i'd post it because it looks dece ;) (I personally wouldn't want such a crowded desktop but he likes it)

Yes and no. They all have different fictional backgrounds and personalities, but they're all based on various win7 features, and they all have "nana" in their name.

Wakata.

The official mascot that Microsoft was promoting as a tan was Nanami though, so I'll stick with what I said. (Not to say that the other character images aren't official at all.)

It's an official wallpaper which is an actual part of the theme. Microsoft seems to have noticed that otaku will buy anything.

I wanted to see how good it was for myself.
Graphics suck, quests suck, users suck, and you can't even make a loli character.
