there's too many PRs in there. since it's an open setup all they do is claim and you have 4 practically confirmed towns

not to mention if BP claims he's confirmed town and no one can even shoot him

Amount of players will be vary depend on general activity in mafia forum when the time comes.

- X Gamblers
- Y Casino Dealers

Special Mechanic: Poker
- Between the Day phase and Night phase, there will be a special phase called the Poker phase.
- During the Poker phase, each players are dealt 5 cards.
- Players may ask for different card once per each card dealt, up to all five cards.
- Players are not required to ask for differnt cards at once.
- Based on the final cards, appropriate powers will be given.
- Roster will be updated when it is completed.
- more stuffs will added later if needed

My setup's ready to go, and I am also finished writing up a mini if it's ever needed.

Also, caligno go ahead and bump my km to the bottom of the list. 2 KMs look horrible.

I got an idea for a set-up today and I'd like some extra opinions on it.

12p, 9town 3scum

Four of the following are randomly distributed, but a max of 2 can be given to mafia.

1 Track-Motivator
1 Watch-Motivator
1 Doctor-Motivator
1 Roleblock-Motivator
1 Vigilante-Motivator
1 Cop-Motivator

The motivators give the target that ability for the next night only. Only one action can be used per player per night.

Mafia then choose whether to recieve a Ninja, Strongman, or Godfather (kill+investivation immune). This is given to a random goon. The motivators get a night head start.

For the kingmaker set-up, you should make the mafia roles more ambiguous to what the town has. They basically know the set-up straight from the start if they have any power roles whatsoever as it is.

I think I did ambiguity on town on purpose for mafia advantage, not sure if its too much. I guess I can make things more ambiguous by having the 2 different mafia teams throughout all the setups.

Also make sure you plan ahead thinking no PR dies ever and the KM dies every night and a peasant dies every day to make sure you have enough peasants to cover all the KM conversions.

I would like to host a pretty standard game for newbie players (9p). My setup will be matrix6 (http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Matrix6). I will randomize the row/column on topic post (1 for 1, 2 for 2, 3 for 3, 4 for a, 5 for b, 6 for c) There will be 2 mafia and 7 town, and the town will always have at least one power role.

I would prefer to have 3 experienced and 6 inexperienced players for this game.

(note for self: 7th newbie game if accepted)

I guess this could go as a mini since its 9p and I have seen that most games don't pass 30 pages, also this game could lead to LyLo at D2.

9 Players: 2 Mafia Goons 1 Doctor 1 Weak Doctor 1 CPR Doctor 1 Paranoid Doctor 1 Quack Doctor 1 Naive Doctor 1 Nurse
Mechanics:
  1. Every player who is a Doctor is not told which kind they are, and will be revealed on death as "Town Doctor".
  2. Doctors who protect only stop a single nightkill from happening.
  3. Weak Doctor dies if it targets a Mafia Goon (and isn't protected).
  4. CPR Doctor saves their target from a nightkill, but if the player isn't actually targeted for a nightkill, the CPR Doctor kills them instead.
  5. Paranoid Doctor is the functional equivalent of a Jailkeeper. (Protects and roleblocks)
  6. Quack Doctor kills their target instead of protecting them, the functional equivalent of a Vigilante.
  7. Naive Doctor does nothing at all!
  8. Nurse becomes the role of the first Doctor to die.
This game will have a lot of flavor from pretty much every source (cause' I've always found it to make mafia games more fun) but please remember: all flavour is completely game-irrelevant.

Pushing this through. Once there is only one normal game going at once, it will remain that way until there is enough interest in a second one.

This will not affect the mini queue.
