Could this be skinnable? The Mode words I mean, I know the icons (Osu Standard Icon, Taiko Standard Icon, CTB Standard Icon, and Mania Standard Icon) can be configured, but I am looking for help on the words. Additionally, I am thinking of skinning the mouse-over part too. where instead of it glowing purple, I will change that part of the mouse over.
My plan is that it will be invisible, you will see it only when you mouse over the mode.

Checked it, but it has no traces of the font being skinnable.

Heya, I've tried to skin a cursor for a skin for a long time, although I had no success, Thought I'd post it here for help

But with these colors :
Cursor - R = 51, G = 255, B = 153
and the cursor trail something a bit lighter such as : R = 102, G = 255, B = 178

try to make the white one as it's base cursor,
and the red as the trail one... (sorry not by file..)

I bassically tried to recolor it to Cursor - R = 51, G = 255, B = 153 and Cursor Trail - R = 102, G = 255, B = 178 but
couldn't for some reason, nor could I recolor from the original white :/

Try hue shift, if you're using Photoshop, access them with ctrl-alt-U, or Image > Adjustment > Hue/Saturation
If you want them colorless, drag the saturation slider to the leftmost side..

Geez, Why no one is downloading new template? You have everything there... just look at pictures and see where they are in-game...
probably they start with whatever skin that they're already have..

Hi, I'm trying to do the taiko part for a skin, but I can't manage to align the drum "highlights" (taiko-drum-inner.png and taiko-drum-outer.png) Do you know how to do it properly? this is driving me nuts...

These are the main fruit graphics for CtB. Keep in mind that, like hit circles, they undergo colour change, so using black to white is suggested.
But something doesn't seem right? They don't have their stems!
It's also suggested to have an approximately distinguishable shape, to distinguish hyperfruits from non-hyperfruits.

Each fruit has it's own overlay. Unlike the fruits themselves, they are not affected by combo colours. This also means you can grant a little colour tint to a fruit or slap a little happy face on all your potatoes if you want to.

The bananas also determine the score gain during a spinner. Keep in mind that they spawn in a random colour close to yellow. if you want your own set colour, you'll have to nullify the actual bananas and put it in the overlay.

Unlike the other fruits, this one has no overlay, so in essence, it will only hold to the combo colour. Keep in mind that these are used for the slider ticks AND the slider droplets, so basically all of the insides of sliders will use this graphic.

The final element of CtB, the catcher himself, Ryuuta. Try to make the catcher distinguishable from the rest of the game, and make sure the player can identify well when the fruit is to hit the plate. Having a thin line flying around may be nice for some players, but doesn't help a vast majority.

I have a question. what does element hitcircleselect do again? and is there any way to fix the hit-lighting where it maintains the circular form in osu! mode and have a different type of lighting during CtB mode?.

No, lighting.png is used both in CtB and standard osu!. There is no way to separate them unless you make a copy of skin and change things to fit into specific game mode.

So, if you are askin for "What are the elements that i have to change" those are the "default-N", "mania-score-0" and "score-N" where N is the number.
If you are asking about how do you do the numbers, well... photoshop has a text tool, just use the font you want.

Looked around a bit and haven't spotted anything yet. Is there any way to skin away that "You have failed but can continue playing..." text you get when failing on a song in multiplayer mode?
I tried to change the combo colors but all the none of the combos appear as the colors I put.
Ex: I used

but got colors like orange, and yellow for combos

I wanted to use the spinner from another map, so I moved the components to a new folder and starting using it as a skin and it worked fine. However, the results screen is now completely messed up and I can't seem to fix it. What have I done wrong?

This worked! But now my spinner is broken... I even tried replacing all of the other spinner parts in the template with transparent png, but it's still not working... the background image doesn't appear and there are extra circles on the spinnerEizan Arizawa wrote:

exact way as fail-background and pause-overlay, it's not on the template, but it's skinnable
