hey, from my queue probably~
Red: Unrankable
Blue: Highly recommended change/very questionable
Black: Suggestion
[General]
There are several unsnapped green lines in each of your difficulties. Be sure to resnap them.[Beginner]
00:22:128 (3) - Shift this note to the right a little so the jump to 00:22:826 (4) isn't so excessive.
00:46:024 (4) - NC here, currently the combo is needlessly long. You can also NC on 00:47:419 (6) if that works better for you.
00:46:024 (4,5,6,7) - The spacing for this entire string of sliders is inconsistent. Stick to a static distance spacing please.
01:18:814 (1) - If you want to stay consistent with hitsounding, the clap on this slider should be on the tail and not the head. The reason being is because if you look at your first Kiai, all of the claps are on strong white ticks and for some reason they aren't in the second. You really should fix your clap pattern from this point on.
01:20:907 (3,4,1) - Same as 00:46:024 (4,5,6,7).
Well it would be nice to at least hear some whistles. The hit-sounding in general could use some work. Standard has pretty decent hit-sounding so I would definitely refer to how it was done there and try to apply it to this one.
[Standard]
For what reason are you using the same OD and HP as Beginner? Having them both at 4 would be ideal for a Normal level difficulty.
00:13:407 (1,2,3,4) - Try and see if you can shift this combo to get (4) to line up perfectly centered. It would bring out the symmetry you're using for this section.
00:24:570 (3) - Whistle on the tail.
00:28:931 (3) - Clap on the head and whistle on the tail.
00:30:326 (1) - nazi~ move the end sliderpoint to x:300 y:96 for a perfect blanket
00:31:721 (3) - This can blanket better as well, judging by the approach circle 00:31:373 (2).
00:32:419 (1,2,3,4) - The placement hear looks messy because of the spacing inconsistency between 00:32:419 (1,2). You can try a nice diamond pattern like this, but at the very least.. fix the spacing.
00:33:466 (4) - Remove clap on the head as it's not consistent with the clap pattern you've been following. Replace it with a whistle.
00:36:256 - Well from here until the second kiai there is not a single clap. I suggest you add some because it definitely will add some flavor to the map. Especially starting at 01:01:721 with how you hear the beat kick in.
00:36:256 (1) - Probably a mistake here. The head of this slider randomly has a normal sample-set and should really be soft since it doesn't really emphasize anything. Also add a whistle once you change it back.
00:39:745 (2) - Clap on the tail.
00:40:442 (3) -
This slider is touching the life bar of the default skin. You should move it down. ~screenshot00:43:233 (1) - The normal sample-set on this sounds good but that finish on the tail but there is no powerful sound in the music to justify it. I would remove as it sounds fine with out.
00:46:024 (3,4) - The jump between these two isn't really acceptable for a normal/standard difficulty.
00:47:418 (5,1) - Exchange NC here to get it on the strong downbeat.
00:48:466 (2) - It would look neater if you spaced this evenly between 00:47:768 (1,3).
01:15:326 (1) - There should really be a spinner here for three reasons: Because of the build up in the music, that you used one on Beginner so why not on Standard, and it's generally recommended that every map has at least 1 spinner for score variation.
[Hyper]
Change the Tick Rate to 2. It fits better with the pacing of the difficulty as well as makes it easier to read due to the sudden SV changes.
00:28:233 (3) - Could blanket better with more curve.
00:29:977 (3) - nazi~ The endpoint of this slider can be moved up one grid for proper symmetry.
00:36:256 -
You probably won't change this, but it needs to be mentioned. Why are you increasing the SV so drastically (0.75x to 1.00x) following the kiai time when the pacing in music is actually less intense and not really speeding up? Furthermore the speed-up is made extremely difficult to read because of the spinner that proceeds it which I doubt any "Hard-level" player could even possibly react to when playing this for the first time. I'm not telling you this needs to change, but most likely, a BAT will find this questionable.00:40:268 (3) - This will be blanketed perfectly if you move it to x:280 y:114
00:50:035 (1) - Remove the NC so this object fits nicely with the triangle pattern.
00:50:210 (2) - NC
00:56:140 - An SV decrease here would be fitting with how softly the music plays.
01:09:745 (1) - Seems kind of dry and bit lazy to me that you would skip over so many powerful sounds in the music with a spinner on this difficulty. Not to mention that there's another spinner shortly after. I would map out this part to keep things interesting.
01:23:000 (2,1) - The blanket between these two can be cleaned up.
01:27:884 (5,6) - I get why just using 2 circles makes sense for the easier difficulties, but here it feels really under-mapped. The music has been in crescendo since the spinner, so the end of the map should really be as exciting as possible imo. Consider changing to two 1/2 sliders and a circle:
Lots of hitsounds missing - claps in particular - and the spacing is sporadically random.
I'll stop here because this was a lot and I'm pretty tired. I know you're looking for a BAT, but this needs a lot of work - consistency with spacing and hit-sounding in particular and know that i'm not trying to be discouraging because it would definitely be awesome to see this get ranked someday. Anyways, if you would like a test-play and some feedback on your Another diff, feel free to catch me in-game.
Best of luck.
