The standard diff is a little hard than a general one, indeed. And:
For Beginning, I suggest:
CS3 and AR3+OD1(for complex rhythm)
Edit: I got -6 offset, need confirmation.
No guest mapper should have more difficulties in the mapset than the creator, all modes together.Considering this I think you should keep the Beginner diff.

tsuka still retains an equal (a little bit over, actually) percentage of their mapping:guest mapping without Beginner. As much as Standard is a bit "harder" than most (I totally understand), it shouldn't warrant an unrank on any grounds IMO.
As for Beginner itself, I'm going to have to agree with Charles on how it plays. The rest of the set is just so much better and shouldn't have been touched to begin with.

If he needs more mods for Easy or wants to live without that diff

tsuka, do you still want to keep the Beginner diff? Considering that naraku seems to be awol, other BATs will take care of this map. By seeing how even various BATs think that the Standard difficulty is not *that* difficult and by seeing that the Beginner diff isn't that great compared to the rest of the mapset I guess it can be removed without any problems and reranked afterwards. If you still want to keep the diff then I'll soon check it and try to make it on par with the other diffs
