She's not Koishi... and for the pattern, It's a new layer with Pattern overlay in Photoshop (the line pattern was from here)
*And yeah, the original image is like that (I only add some effects and patterns)

Uh, you know, it can animate even when the user isn't viewing it (hasn't scrolled down to it yet), and then the only way to have it animate again on Firefox is to reload the image by using ctrl+shift+r. You can't even make it reanimate by simply refreshing the page. It's a problem with non-looping .gif's.

...It's nice though.
The 3D-ish text effect sort of looks like a really weird chromatic aberration (I'm way too used to lens filters ._.) so you might want to change that.

I use Sadistic Hanako as my screen name for everything. I have a facebook page and a tumblr. One of my followers decided to go ahead and ask if I had an OC or if my name was based of any existing character. I told him no and he brought up how he is a digital artist and wanted some practice. He asked me to come up with a character to go along with my name. I'm crazy about maids and love me a seductive, evil character with an "F-you attitude." A week later, he had a finished picture. That's what I use for my avatar now.

It's always nice to have OC's but they're even better when you come up with them yourself! (*cough*originalcharacter*cough*)

....Then again you don't always get other people making OC's for you so that's kinda cool too xD

I make my own avatars... Which is this right now. (only in png and transparent). THis pic is my facebook profile pic. Just took the section-pass, changed the color, and tossed a cool render I found ontop of it with some minor editing...

I also have this as my section-pass (which I'm sure you all assumed by now. :D)

Originally, the border was more pink, but it looked retarded with the white forum borders, so I tried changing it a bit. Needless to say, it was difficult to make it look sufficiently pink while not becoming too retarded when put with the forum border. (it's still best viewed ingame)

I still can't swap Tamamo out after all this time!

Rendered the BG out and replaced the old text with calligraphy. I must've spent like an hour looking for nice calligraphy font but ended up using the Epson ones =.=
