Not a mod. I crafted that myself and did a test run on survival. Pretty damm dangerous to tell you the truth ._.

Finished another island. Accidentally spawned a village on it though.....

And the view from below.... (Yes, its THAT huge)

Attempting to alter the spawner creation for a more interesting experience. Of course, doing plenty of testing first before playing with that.

Also creating some "real" rare items which is in WIP, but nice to try on for the bonuses. And yes, I do test them to make sure the value IDs and such don't break anything.

Erm, I have come back from a super-long inactivity thanks to a friend who sent me a gift code.
Yes, it has been seen before my eyes that my home was wrecked, after close analysis of damage patterns it looked like they used TNT or something. But that's not what I am literally pissed at.

Honestly speaking, I did see the damage before and investigated it. As far as I can tell, some cheat mods were used in a raid. Especially with how it was targeted. Of course, anyone using such things get banned eventually.

Well, I doubt its time wasting if the last update manage to screw up chunk loading (which is a bad thing).

Edit: I know its been some time since the last picture posted, but I got tied up with some work that had to be addressed so I couldn't get as much done as I wanted. But to show you what's going on right now, i'm working on setting the biomes correctly instead of one huge jungle biome. Including snow on the mountain tops.

1.6.4.... To load up important parts of the singleplayer world: Done. Anyways, I'm off to some PvP servers until the server gets upgraded to 1.7, heh, I await that.... I will downgrade to 1.6.2 every now and then to check up on things...

Well, i've been scrambling in my head on how to make the shops without the use of the econ plugin and I figured it out. Though its not easy, it's possible and can be edited. Of course, the currency will be typically from common (like gold bars, gold nuggets, books) to the more rare "expensive" items (like diamonds, emeralds, and even nether stars)

Have you watched Sethbling's videos? He touches a lot on MCEdit and I think he has a custom filter for making villager shops too.

Its just the matter of setting it up right. Especially for treasures with attributes.

ah, finally, shops.

Speaking of the 1.7 update... will there be a chance for our items to be carried over somehow, or will it all be a fresh restart from scratch?
that, and if the factions system will still be in use, etc.

On a side note, i have been wondering if you will allow/implement use of the Minecraft Enchantment Decoder mod (it requires a server side plugin installed to work)

Not sure about items being saved for the next update honestly. I think it's more possible through enderchests since I feel they are "profile-based" and doesn't have separate storage points like regular chests do.

As for the extra plugins, its up to Eph on that if it seems logical or not to add.

After sitting down with some thoughts, I feel it would be cooler having some help to generate more custom structures to use when the new update appears. If you want to have your creations used, just message me and i'll combine it or have them placed thoroughly. We can also review the layouts and collab build.

Anyways, we'll be getting ready to update the server to the new 1.7 build(s) soon. Atm, i'm just finishing up the custom chunks before adding them to the world map.

This is a general idea of how the new world will be made up.

There's going to be a slight delay. My graphics card decided to nade itself on me and now i'm stuck on a stock on-board video as a temp. Was getting horrible lag before then till it finally gave out. Sorry for the delay but just need a few more days.

i was actually thinking of incorporating whymeman's world with a bundled twilight forest + thaumcraft modpack, since those two both work together very well, provide some interesting mechanics and lots of cooperative play opportunities

how do people feel about this?

Sounds nice actually. Though before I actually start plotting the chunks together on the map, I want to make sure if anyone else really wants the world Normal (w/ Large Biomes) or AMPLIFIED. The sooner I get the votes, the faster I can figure out the best choice considering those who would actually suffer graphics lag loading 100000+ blocks a chunk.

While I have to agree that it does sound good, I think it's best if the server remains mod-free. I don't like corrupting my MC files just to enjoy mods (unless it has a standalone ver). If you guys are really gonna include such mods in, be sure to make your instructions clear in the op so everyone can join with ease.

Hmm.... though if the addon mod is standalone without needing others to get the mod itself, that would also be nice. Then again, you can also save customized versions of the Minecraft version folder if you do it right as seen on youtube vids with installing mods since 1.6

Hey WMM, you sent met that world, "build world 4" because I wanted to test the speed potions.
Remember that stone cloud that is made of wool? Its a gigantic lag machine: light one fire and the whole thing goes up, along with your computer

Finishing up with the Skyland chunk. Had to rework some biomes due to the phail with MCEdit not pasting the biomes correctly. Also reworking the shops to correct some item prices in the Mini City.

Also working to patch up AMPLIFIED chunks into the map. Will take a bit of time to smoothen out.

Alright, some good news is that the map should be done by this weekend. After that, it's just the matter of updating and setting up the server and such. Just finalizing the edit tests and chunk smoothing atm.

Alright, here's how i'm going to go about with the finalization.

* about 3 cities /w armor and weapon shops each containing different level of "boosted" equipment. A bank for "currency" exchange, a food store, and a ingredients shop (for potions).

* custom chunks of land/dungeons are added. at a massive distance of course.

*Currently finishing up the battle ship theme for ocean travelers

It almost sounds as if you're changing the game mode of the server to Adventure instead of Survival, in which to be honest sounds pretty cool since I believe not many others have done this before.

Well I'd be okay either way (as in either Adventure or Survival). I'll be looking forward to the server

Not going with Amplified. Just Large Biomes at most. I tried to do Amplified for a week and it was just nuts to handle though I wanted to keep a small experience from it so I took a chunk from that world and pasted it into the current one i'm working on. As for the progress, I just have to add one more city, some touch ups, then good to go.

Something always happens that kicks my ass (got slightly sick and really busy).... anyways, I got the battle ship done. All that is needed is to furnish and load the ammo. Then i'll see if I can load in maybe 14 ~ 17 into that one area for the map, then we'll be good to go

The ships came out larger than I thought, but making it work somehow. This is just one of the areas i'm setting it up at.

[Update: 12/19]

+ Found and fixed a few issues on the chunks.

+ Added Fishing Shops in cities/towns

+ Added three different tiers of bookstores. Higher tiers have nicer enchantment books, but WILL be very expensive.

+ For the awesomeness, warships will be added in two isolated locations. War start at night time automatically.

+ Started a small blueprint on starter items on the server. Also working on making a decent spawn point.

A set map size, not sure but I doubt it. Factions i'd go with since it kept the server easy and clean better than Towny without breaking. Essentials would be nice to have with it as well.

Also did a bit of a derp moment on MCEdit with accidental cloning. Already cleaned that up though.

Once the server starts up, you should be able to start with what is set in the inventory (if not, then wtf). The rain did seem to troll me a lot on the final bits before completion though....

I believe the enderchest inventory would be cleared too. Usually this is a proper way to go when you own online servers to give a fair start.

I don't think 1.8 would be coming anytime soon. Let's just go with 1.7 first. And even if the game does get updated to 1.8, there would be no need to reset the world since there are no changes to the terrain generation.

Well, the other thing is that i'm trying to be around as much as I can to help with the launch. But if there's a plugin that needs to be waited on or something, then I could update the world map with a few more things. Yeah. I already sent him the finished copy. But while there's more waiting, I could look into updating a few more things into the map before launch.

3.) Click Direct Connect
