AR9 is used way too much in general, maybe for the next rounds try to get at least ONE map away from it, there was a hd pick with ar8 and that's all in this round.
happystick passed it with DT so it's a DT map

Not really :P Idola no Circus and Hyakuren Yakou are way easier than all the nomods, probably easier than all the maps in the pool (I've played all the maps now). There's like 1 hard part in the Hyakuren Yakou map and it's a badly mapped one (the 1/3 spaced part), so yeah. Basically same situation as with Kodoku Egoism last round.

Wow I like that proposed interface a lot, especially the Team line-up info. It would be cool if each player's map rank can be displayed too, but I guess that's too much work.

Let's see what Zallius cooks up :D

This is nice, needs a more obvious divider though imo, so people can easily see "This team's players are to the left, the others are to the right"

@The map picks: having multiple Natteke maps shouldn't really bother anyone. We had multiple Frostmourne picks in best of 16 and those were debatably the best maps in the pool. (Then again, I absolutely love Frostmourne maps + DT so I'm a little biased)

Honestly as long as they're good mappers and it doesn't feel super repetitive, who cares?

P.S.: That overlay looks sexy. I can agree on dividing the teams a little better though.

I would like to announce to players and watchers that unfortunately, due to a hard drive failure, my computer is unusable right now. I won't be able to commentate OWC or do anything osu! related until I get a new one. I have ordered a new hard drive which should arrive during next week, so this is only calling quits for this round. Good luck to all the teams, and see you soon, hopefully!

Ivaltek Freemod - this is a joke.
Anhedonia - muya's worst map. Nice try..

Those are not lucky players, those are people that just bothered to try on the map, there's more to the difficulty of a map than how you perceive a scoreboard.

Sonata isn't a very hard map, but it's not very good and it has many clusterfuck patterns, also few people really like the song to grind on the map

Those are not lucky players, those are people that just bothered to try on the map, there's more to difficulty in a map then how you perceive a scoreboard.
It's not that I haven't played it and I think it's obvious this map is too hard and much of a troll for this tournament. Or at least this stage.

The maps somehow fit me in terms of patterns and shit.

It's the lack of balance what bugs me.

And seriously, I don't enjoy practising ugly maps.

I've only played the first 2 maps, Cruel Clocks and Sonata, but that difference in difficulty is huuuuuugggeee. As in, Cruel Clocks is cake compared to Sonata.

I request that MuryokuP - Sweet Sweet Cendrillon Drug will be replaced by another map
As I already noted in the map thread, 01:49:169 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1) - this stream, starting on a blue tick and being totally random and impossible to anticipate is like impossible to get SS on, especially with Hard Rock and if you don't know it's coming

i dont really see the problem? i could sightread it just fine.
