Iunno, I thought it'd just come naturally if you know how to flip-flop between left and right in the first place.

Try practicing first. Shut off the computer or something, and tap D-D-K-D-D-K-D-D-K on your keyboard, first slowly, to get the hang of it, and then faster. Same with controller. Try with any other sequence that needs you to switch hands.

Yeah I think I'll try doing the lessons on TnTPSP2 using proper switching too. Probably gonna start playing maps from Taiko 1 PS2 since back then, Oni was too easy to be called such, and probably might be easy enough for me to practice proper left-right. To demonstrate my right-hand biase, here's a replay of Bouken Hiyori; notice how notes that aren't 1/4 apart are always hit with the right hand:

DKK, huh... well mastering patterns of 3 ain't a problem, but I must admit the 3-note-patterns that I'm having a problem with are DKD, KDK, DKK, and KDD. I mean, I can get them if they're stuck up with other normal patterns, but if a ton of these go together I usually find myself missing soon enough.

Hey I was gonna make it on authentic first :P The 2000 is going to be on Taiko Wii 2 before Taiko 13. Namco will get burned to the ground if it isn't

And that picture is familiar. I've seen it before somewhere....Ah, dA account for cielelric, I think.

ps. Aqua, I think 'Age Age Every Knight' was contained on DS2/10/11/12/12+ :3...

If I like the song, I will. Hopefully it's more SUKG&*#AWT&(#GOT*G than HayaSai so that I can argh... ahaha...

Also, @aqua: you CAN get a vid of RaRaRaHappiness' charts, right...? The camera you used is clear enough (I guess?)

EDIT: I need a more christmas-y background for Bouken Hiyori. Can someone get one for me...? :D

Zekira: That camera wasn't mine. I borrowed it for a day and had a little extra time to do stuff with it :P Don't worry, I'll get one of my own soon enough. Oh, when you map Lalala Happiness, can I add my own Taiko difficulty to it? :D I like the song a lot.

The opening movie for Bouken Hiyori should be christmas-y enough already. Nanadaime was released close to Christmas itself. But I'll see what I can get.

I'm still waiting for Frionel's difficulty (it should be named Blood Lance, Blood Bow, Blood Sword, I think he'll finish it by tomorrow), but right now there are only 3 difficulties: Grenade Launcher, Laser Cannon, and OP-Intensify, which represent my 3 selves:

Grenade Launcher -- Zeki-Katsu's ace accessory. This difficulty represents note-heaviness of basic note patterns.
Laser Cannon -- Zeki-Don's ace accessory. This difficulty represents sped-up but few notes.
OP-Intensify -- Zekira's internal modification. This difficulty represents the intensification of Zeki-Don and Zeki-Katsu. (and is probably the hardest difficulty I made for this set)

This sucks. I had just finished my best run of Ware wa Muteki no Dokon Dan, and as soon as I attempt to move my mouse away from the retry button, it clicks and doesn't save it. I haven't been able to replicate it yet :(

I have a feeling that they are authentic -- he said that all of his Onis are 777 combo and have the same score, so I'm thinking it is indeed authentic and dual-playable...

...in other news, I FCd Haya Saitama 6 times in a row. But when I put Flashlight+Hidden, I always at least miss once (best so far was only 517 combo), how annoying is this ._.

Umm...
I made TaikOsu as Original pattern...
And if do that, 7(TaikOsu6+Hell Oni1)+4(Taiko-authentic) diffs on Song...
Anyway...

I'll consider about it.
But It seems hard to do this... :(

Number of diffs shouldn't be a big problem. I've seen maps with contributed difficulties more than 15 of them in a single song. And I can't get the authentics ranked any other way(for the time being, anyway)

Good riddance to a few of the Namco Originals. They sound terrible(the ones from Taiko 12 that weren't so popular). TE-20 is gone after just one arcade. GIROPPON and Tarako are gone too.

Hibike should be in Wii 2. After all, Densetsu no Matsuri was in Wii 1 :) Hopefully they'll have the Master Notes.

EDIT: arken, forget about my Taiko authentics. Yours are authentic already. Sorry for the mess up~

I thought you'd already pass Rotter Inner Oni ages ago. :P I passed it for the first time two months ago, and Ryougen no Mai about two weeks ago.

I have it. It's on the sticker sheet for Taiko DS 2 XD

Also, do you think I should make my own maps TaikOsu? I've been thinking a lot on that. By just making Taiko authentics, I think I'm alienating a huge portion of osu! which doesn't play Taiko well(unless Taiko-specific can be ranked at some point). But at the same time, I'm completely out of touch with the Ouendan style of play, and getting even one map ranked, as you all know, is pretty freaking hard. And some Taiko maps just aren't worth the effort to be made into TaikOsu.

Can anyone tell me what I should do?

of course, I'm sure some people would love to see Kaze no Fantasy on TaikOsu

In all honesty, Fantasy of the Wind is a really beautiful song that even if people don't know it, they'll probably like it; and ratings are largely based on song choice :D. I'll even help out largely, if you need help with that.

Oh, and thanks for the Mekadon portrait :D

Yuujou Pop and Ryougen no Mai are also in this. Namco has not let us down :) Only disppointment was some repeated Wii 1 songs (for the purpose of Inner Oni), and no new 2000. Those will have to wait till Taiko 13 which we can't play that easily >_>

Ryougen no Mai,Inner Rotter,Rambu Rambu,
DON'T CUT and a new song
that reminds me of DON'T CUT..nice..
Not so happy about the lack of new 2000s.
Figures,since Wii 1 had all 10 songs of that
series.Chipmunk-Saitama seems hard to play
but gehh too unoriginal.

They replaced the final unlockable song with something that isn't a 2000.

旋風ノ舞 (Senpuu no Mai), probably from the same person who made Ryougen no Mai. It's 9 star though, not 10.

I'm more intrigued by the new songs though. Fuun Shishi (lol at the name), the new Garyoutensei song. SORA-I-Earth Rise and SORA-II Glize 581 are also some weird song titles. Wonder what the heck they are? And Hikari no Kanata e, Story mode's last song(I think), and a 10 star at that.

And I'm very happy Yuujou Pop, Future Rabo, Ryougen no Mai, ~still a duckling~ and ac.12.5 made it in. Very happy :) But Blue-chan no Oya2 is also there....It might be the first Namco Original I'll hate.

Well, I somehow knew all along that they were gonna use Haya. In any case, can you ready your camera Aqua? :D I just hope there's a way you could unlock Oni fast enough

You'll have to wait. My camera isn't coming fast enough, and I still can't preorder the game yet(this is an early leaked version). I probably won't get the game until I finish my STPM exam (starts Nov. 19, also day of Taiko Wii 2 release, ironic as hell)

From the blog arken gave, unlocking Oni is simpler than in previous games, 15 crowns on Muzukashii.

I think I'll record Lalala Happiness first. Once I finish the game I'll probably record Rotter Inner, Hikari no Kanata e, Senpuu no Mai and 練習曲Op.10-4(if I can clear it :P)
