After 6 years of playing, I've finally come to love puck. Truly the best hero for "baiting and outsmarting". Especially when you max phase shift, the plays are hilarious.

Because people found a counter and he's out of the meta.
Icefrog is doing a great job at balancing and I can't believe how much effort and thought he puts into + he got damn great talent and the smartness for bringing the right nerfs and buffs.

I certainly respect the man and he does put a lot of effort into the game, but I think his approach is just a bit wrong. I don't think when a hero gets nerfed that it should be pushed so far down the ladder that no one even thinks to pick him anymore, yes this is extremely hard to achieve due to the nature of a game like Dota2 but it is possible. Overall though yes he is doing great and I definitely am not complaining about the game as a whole

For me, it's the contrary. I reached very high MM with no problem by solo queuing, but game got boring, and now, I'm having a lot more fun in normals + stacking with my shit-tier friends. Not because stomping scrubs is fun, but because the game atmosphere is so much more relaxing.

Truthfully though, I haven't had any problems with him on enemy teams, and when he's on my team it's great but not ultra amazing. Most pubs out there try to build him as this half chaser/carry which imo is just foolish. Mana boots and mek on him and then he is truly a force to be reckoned with.

I don't disagree that he isn't able to hold his own in the late game, I just prefer to see him in the support role over the carry role. His shields and heals can really turn the tide, especially if he has a mek and pipe.
I just feel like there is a better carry/semi-carry then him, while his support is massive. Kind of like an opposite situation with Sven case.
